November 23, 2020

ORLANDO, Fla. — The National Association of Christian Financial Consultants (NACFC), (www.nacfc.org), presents Alignment 2020, a virtual conference series providing attendees with tools, information and motivation, coming out of the pandemic in a way that will bring honor and glory to God.

As 2020 has dished up challenges related to COVID-19, social unrest and a politically divided election season, NACFC has remained committed to providing tools, information and motivation for consultants to navigate these turbulent times through a six-part virtual conference for financial advisors.

NACFC president Mark Minnella explained the sixth session of “Alignment 2020” was yet another opportunity to encourage and equip financial consultants to grow their practice and influence in their community.

Each session is designed to increase your ability to care for your clients, build a stronger more successful practice and grow deeper in your relationship with God,” Minnella said. “The Alignment 2020 conference is not about a new technique; it is about a more perfect business life.”

The keynote speaker at the sixth and final session of the NACFC “Alignment 2020” sessions was Adrian Young, Chief Compliance Officer for Ambassador Advisors. Young’s topic, “Aligning Professionals to Capture Opportunity: Tax and Estate Planning Concepts to Grow On” reviewed several concepts and strategies to help advisors build credibility and opportunity with other professionals who specialize in different but related services, particularly tax and estate planning.

“When it comes to tax and estate planning, we need to talk about legacy,” Young explained to attendees. “Why legacy? Because legacy and the term legacy allow you to be inclusive with all the specialists and all the professionals that are out there, bring them to the table and really have a cohesive solution. When we talk about this idea of legacy, it is important to understand that your clients want to leave a lasting legacy.”

Young recognizes the opportunity and responsibility God has given to him. “God has gifted us with this industry, which impacts every facet of a person’s life. It is such an incredible opportunity to minister and live out your faith on a daily basis. It is a rare opportunity to affect change in your community.”

After graduating with honors in International Business and Management from Dickinson College, Young went on to complete his Juris Doctor and a master’s degree in Business Administration at Temple University. He serves as a trusted resource for advisors, clients and other professionals throughout the country. An attorney and CFP, he serves as the chief compliance officer and planning department leader for Ambassador Advisors. Young relishes the opportunity to employ cutting-edge techniques and, when needed, anticipating change and improvising to create new client solutions. His law firm, Aevitas Law, serves as an emissary for advisors building relationships with other attorneys, as well as an implementation arm for clients who do not already have strong legal representation.

Previous “Alignment 2020” speakers have included Brent Owens, President and Operations Manager of Creative Financial Designs; Alan Ross, Founder and CEO of Kingdom Companies; Jeff Cave, Director of Institutional Markets for Eventide; Zachary Covert, Director of Advisor Relations for Timothy Plan in the Northeastern and Midwestern U.S.; and John Parrott, Executive Director for Discovery Church, Orlando, Florida.

The mission of the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants is to teach, train and encourage financial professionals to learn, share and instruct biblical stewardship to individuals and families believing that “it profits a man nothing to gain the whole world and lose his soul” (Matthew 16:26). Members will glorify God by impacting their world for Jesus Christ through teaching and practicing biblical stewardship.
