‘Our Days of Being Canceled by Culture and Banned From Speaking the Truth Are Over’

TUPELO, Miss. — American Family Association (AFA, www.afa.net) is launching AFA Streaming—a brand new platform that will host all AFA-produced video content online on a user-friendly, first-class website. With AFA Streaming, AFA made the important decision not to rely on the controlling big tech giants to host their platform in order to prevent censorship and allow creative control of their content. This platform will launch to the public on November 1, 2021.

AFA Streaming will provide the public with top-notch resources that address issues related to their core values.

Vice President of Operations Walker Wildmon commented, “The mission of American Family Association is to inform, equip, and activate individuals and families to transform American culture and to give aid to the church, here and abroad, in its calling to fulfill the Great Commission. AFA Streaming is a vital step that we are taking to advance our mission, carry out our vision, and serve our supporters. Instead of relying heavily on resources such as Youtube, Vimeo, and other secular platforms, AFA Streaming will be managed only by AFA.”

In addition,instead of utilizing an app that would rely on platforms such as Apple, Google Play, or other unfriendly companies, AFA has chosen to offer a website that is accessible through any browser on a computer, mobile device, or tablet.

“We are very excited to provide this new resource for Christians across America,” Wildmon stated. “We hope that this platform will give viewers an easy way to find honest, family-friendly Christian content.”

Free users and Great Commission Partner (GCP) users have access to AFA Streaming. Free users will be able to stream and view limited content on one device at a time; GCP users will be allowed to stream and view content on up to five devices simultaneously. Great Commission Partners are those who give to the ministry on a monthly basis.
