American Family Radio

Announces Changes in Lineup

‘The Hamilton Corner’ to Air on Entire Network from 5 to 6 p.m. CT

TUPELO, Miss.American Family Radio (AFR, www.afr.net), a division of the American Family Association (AFA, www.afa.net), is announcing programming changes effective July 31 on the network’s nearly 200 stations around the country.

Beginning Monday, AFR will combine music and talk during the afternoon hours until teaching and preaching programming begins at 6 p.m. CT.

Also beginning Monday, “The Hamilton Corner,” with host Abraham Hamilton III, will air from 5 to 6 p.m. CT on the entire network of AFR stations. Previously, the program aired only on AFR’s Urban Family Talk network of stations. Hamilton is AFA’s Public Policy Analyst and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. He is also a father and Bible teacher, and his ministerial focus includes marriage, family, apologetics, biblical worldview training, discipleship and preaching.

“The Hamilton Corner” will replace “Nothing But Truth” with Crane Durham, which has aired on the network for 10 years. Durham told AFR that “he has enjoyed his time with AFA and looks forward to see what the Lord is launching for both Crane Durham’s ‘Nothing But Truth’ and American Family Radio.”

“This recent change was due to a significant overhaul of AFR programming and in no way reflects negatively on Crane Durham or his excellent program,” said AFR General Manager Jim Stanley. “I have the highest regard for Crane, and over the 10 years Crane has been with us, he has been a faithful and hardworking employee. He will be truly missed.”

In addition, John Riley, previously the host of “Afternoons with John Riley” from 3 to 6 p.m. CT, will transition to a creative services position and will produce a timely and exciting weekend newscast focusing on Israel and the Middle East.
