CINCINNATI, Ohio —On her national radio program “Raising Godly Girls,” Founder and Executive Director of American Heritage Girls Patti Garibay discussed how parents and guardians can help their girls prepare to shine the light of Christ in a culture that often rejects Christian values.

Garibay stated, “Our modern age brings a wave of the most challenging and complex conversations between parents and daughters of all ages. Issues like gender confusion, divisive politics, and moral relativism all stew in our post-Christian culture… eventually dribbling down into the minds of even the youngest of girls.

“Throughout history, God’s people have been called to counter the worldly culture. In his letter to the Philippians, Paul reminds us that believers ‘may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.’”

Garibay continued, “You have the ability to reflect God’s pure light in the midst of today’s post-Christian culture. Better still, with you as a beacon, your daughter can do the same.”
