American Pastors Network Launches New ‘Stand in the Gap’ App
App Will Enable Pastors and Church Leaders to More Easily Access Programs from ‘Stand in the Gap’ Radio, Gaining Insight on Today’s Headlines from a Biblical and Constitutional Perspective
PHILADELPHIA—The American Pastors Network (APN, www.americanpastorsnetwork.net) has launched a new app that will enable pastors and church leaders to more ably “stand in the gap for truth.”
The “Stand in the Gap” App, launched today for iOS and Android phones, will give the public more insight into the “Stand in the Gap” lineup of radio programming, including the daily, one-hour “Stand in the Gap Today,” the best-of highlight program “Stand in the Gap Weekend” and the daily snippet of biblical truth, “Stand in the Gap Minute.
APN president and co-host of the “Stand in the Gap Today” radio ministry Sam Rohrer says pastors and church leaders have been requesting an app that will allow them to better engage with the timely topics discussed on “Stand in the Gap” radio.
“We know that millions of listeners around the country rely on ‘Stand in the Gap’ radio for news, commentary and biblical and constitutional insight on today’s headlines they can’t get anywhere else,” Rohrer said. “The American Pastors Network hopes this new app will allow them to truly remain engaged with their world by looking at all things through the lens of a biblical and constitutional Christian worldview.”
The free “Stand in the Gap” app will mainly highlight the APN radio ministry and allow those who download the app to enable push notifications that will provide alerts of program times and themes before they air. Users can also listen live to programming through the app and access archived programming.
Future plans include podcasts and videos of Rohrer and other APN representatives who have been featured in national media interviews.
Those interested in downloading the app can search on “Stand in the Gap” or “American Pastors Network” in the Apple store or on Google Play.
