‘Believe It’ by Co-Author Joshua Cooley a NY Times Best-Seller; Newest Book, ‘The Biggest Win,’ Launches July 30

PHILADELPHIA—Joshua Cooley worked with Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl-winning quarterback Nick Foles as a co-author for Foles’ new book, “Believe It,” which has reached The New York Times best-seller list in several categories.
Cooley is also the author of his own inspirational sports-themed book called “The Biggest Win,” which will be released by New Growth Press July 30.
In “The Biggest Win,” Cooley tells the faith stories of Foles and five other members of the 2017 Philadelphia Eagles team: Zach Ertz, Jordan Hicks, Chris Maragos, Carson Wentz and Trey Burton, who signed with the Chicago Bears this offseason. Through the ups and downs of the game of football, Cooley shows how these high-profile athletes remain committed to God’s Word, genuine Christian discipleship and sharing their faith.

Cooley first met Foles while writing a freelance magazine story about a close-knit group of six Christ-following players on the Eagles team. He discovered there was a much bigger story to tell, and embarked on the journey of writing “The Biggest Win.” In fact, the book was already in the works last summer, months before the Eagles’ exhilarating victory in Super Bowl LII.

In its debut week, “Believe It” by Foles and Cooley is at No. 5 in Hardcover Nonfiction, No. 3 in Sports and Fitness and No. 13 in Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction in The New York Times categories. “Believe It” is also ranked No. 1 in the “Football” category on Amazon and No. 3 on Publisher’s Weekly.
Foles and his teammates also collectively wrote “The Biggest Win” foreword:

A percentage of the book sales from “The Biggest Win” will go to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the international sports ministry with a vision to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
