CCHF Radio Feature Has Explained Health Care Headlines to Americans Since 2009
‘Health Freedom Minute’ Changes Hearts and Minds
ST. PAUL, Minn.—On Dec. 18, 2009, a new one-minute radio feature called “Health Freedom Minute” hit the airwaves on just one local station in Minnesota, where Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom (CCHF, www.cchfreedom.org) has been protecting health care choices, individualized patient care, and medical and genetic privacy rights nationwide.
Today, “Health Freedom Minute” begins its ninth year and is heard on more than 800 stations in 47 states, including the American Family Radio network, Bott Radio network, Christian Satellite Network, The Patriot AM 1280, KROZ-FM 105.9 FM in Austin, Texas, and many others. “Every weekday for the past eight years, I’ve been sharing our organization’s insights with Americans on topics such as Obamacare, medical privacy, genetics, eugenics, DNA warehousing, health insurance, Medicare, euthanasia, bioethics, regulations, legislation, socialized medicine, rationing, health sharing, managed care, the no-privacy HIPAA rule and more,” said CCHF president and co-founder Twila Brase. “It’s been a pleasure to explain complex health care topics in just 60 seconds. I try to connect the dots—to get to the heart of the issue. It’s also been exciting to meet listeners who identify me solely by hearing my voice. And it’s always great when I hear how the ‘Health Freedom Minute’ has taught listeners something they didn’t know about protecting their health freedom and privacy rights, especially less well-known options for coverage and care.”
