Churches Can Plan ‘Movie Night’ With DVD or Digital Licenses of New Film ‘The God Who Speaks’

New American Family Association Movie Answers Common Objections, Reveals Trustworthiness of Bible’s Claims and Observes Effects of Denying Biblical Authority

TUPELO, Miss.—There’s nothing quite like a family movie night, complete with popcorn and a great story that will hopefully create engaging conversation when the lights come back on.

American Family Studios hopes that will be exactly the case at church movie nights featuring the new, 90-mimute film The God Who Speaks. A division of the American Family Association (AFA), American Family Studios explores the truth and authority of the Bible in this powerful movie and is offering both DVD and digital licenses for group viewings of any size.

Also available on DVD and digital rental for individuals and families, the movie features the many well-known evangelical voices, biblical scholars and some of the world’s most respected defenders of the Christian faith.

“Our desire is that small groups, Bible studies, Sunday school classes and entire churches will gather together to watch this film that we hope will change the way they view the Bible, how God breathed life into His Word and how they can take the truth of the Bible into the world,” said the film’s director, M.D. Perkins. “Through ‘The God Who Speaks,’ churches can explore the evidence of the Bible’s inspiration and authority with some of the most highly respected voices within evangelicalism, including D.A. Carson, R.C. Sproul, R. Albert Mohler, Alistair Begg and others.”

“The God Who Speaks” answers common objections and observes the effects of denying biblical authority. The film also reveals the trustworthiness of the Bible’s claims and calls viewers to a response worthy of our gracious God.

Churches and groups greater than 15 have two options for licenses of “The God Who Speaks—a DVD site license (DVD sold separately; the license and promotional graphics are available for download for small, medium and large churches) and a digital license so groups can watch on Faithlife TV, accessible online or via Apple TV, Roku, iOS, Android and Amazon Fire TV. For information or questions on group licenses, email screenings@afa.net.

Since its Feb. 1 debut, “The God Who Speaks” has been enabling thousands of Christians to better defend their faith, talk to skeptics about the truth of the Bible and rest assured in the authority of God’s Word. “The God Who Speaks” was also recently named Best Documentary at the Christian Worldview Film Festival.

The film is also produced by Jeff Chamblee, director of American Family Studios. For more on “The God Who Speaks” or to view the trailer, click here. The two-DVD set with two hours of bonus content, as well as a digital rental, is available for purchase at afastore.net/the-god-who-speaks.
