Debbie Jobe Named Executive Vice President of Training for Fellowship of Christian Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo—Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA, www.fca.org) has announced that Debbie Jobe has been named Executive Vice President of Training and has joined FCA’s executive leadership team.

“It is with great joy and excitement that I share that Debbie Jobe will lead FCA in our training initiatives,” said FCA President and CEO Shane Williamson. “Debbie has served FCA for seven years as Field Technology Trainer, and in fact, has served the Lord through FCA for the past 38 years in roles from Administrative Support, Area Representative, Assistant Metro Director and Regional Director for Texas/Louisiana. She has embraced every role with humility and excellence and is the quintessential trainer whom the Lord has equipped to lead us well through this role. Her position has critical importance globally, as she helps to advance FCA’s mission through the training of staff and volunteers around the world.”

Jobe, whose post started Aug. 1, joined the FCA staff in 1979 and has served in various roles, including most recently Field Technology Trainer, helping FCA staff around the globe learn its systems. She grew up in Virginia and, after graduating from college in Oklahoma, began working for Arkansas FCA, where she served for nine years before moving to Dallas. During those first years with FCA, she traveled across the nation to direct national camps for girls. Always with a heart for training, Jobe has been involved in FCA Training Camp for new staff for more than 15 years.

“I am so honored to serve in this new role for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes,” Jobe said. “It is truly wonderful to work daily with dedicated and amazing FCA staff members and volunteers and to see their commitment to impacting coaches and athletes around the world for Christ.”

Jobe and her husband, Dave, a pastor, have three adult children and six grandchildren.
