USPIE President Sheri Few speaks out against divisive education model through local South Carolina lawsuit against Kershaw County School District

COLUMBIA, S. C. — As the school year looms closer, parents, teachers, and guardians are growing even more concerned about dangerous indoctrination happening in American schools. While some elected officials are determined to identify harmful ideologies in curriculum such as critical race theory (CRT), through United States Parents Involved in Education’s (USPIE) latest feature film,“Truth & Lies in American Education,” USPIE Founder and President Sheri Few is warning Americans that these divisive pedagogies are embedded in school policy. The film dives into the heart of the American education system and uncovers the tragic truth about what American children are being taught.
“Identifying the issues is just the first step,” Few commented. “Schools may say that they are not teaching critical race theory and other divisive ideologies in their classrooms, but really they have been rebranded with buzz words like ‘abolitionist teaching,’ ‘conscious and unconscious bias,’ or ‘culturally responsive teaching.’ We need to not only identify these harmful lessons being taught to children, but we must fight back! Parents are flooding school board meetings, demanding change — and if these demands are not met, they are stepping up and voting candidates on school boards who will put an end to this nightmare.”
“Truth & Lies in American Education” is the true story of April Few, the young mother of two children, who takes the audience through her eye-opening experience of setting out to learn about government schools and her discovery of the alarming agenda without America’s school system. April Few is joined by a number of experts, including former Vanderbilt professor Dr. Carol Swain.
Swain, a well-respected author and educator, spoke out recently about the hidden agenda in modern schools, calling them “indoctrination centers” and urging parents and guardians to consider whether it is in their children’s best interest to send them through the public education system.
“The teachers who have come out of the university system — they have come out woke. And if they have a degree in teaching education, their mission is to indoctrinate your children,” Swain warned.
This is exactly what USPIE is dedicated to uncovering and eradicating. “Teachers are meant to teach, not indoctrinate,” stated Few. “We need to be vigilant in exposing this indoctrination, especially in our own backyards.”
Seeking to expose indoctrination in her own local Kershaw County, Few asked the school district for a copy of the teacher training materials. Despite being a taxpaying citizen, she was denied. After Few submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to obtain the teaching materials, the district then refused to comply and share the materials. Determined to uncover the truth, Few filed a lawsuit against Kershaw County School District and will pursue this troubling issue until the school district complies.
“If they didn’t have anything to hide, they would give the material freely,” Few said. “The fact that they are refusing to cooperate proves that they have ulterior motives. This is exactly why every tax-paying citizen needs to see ‘Truth & Lies in American Education’— so they can learn about the horrible realities in America’s education system and what they can do about it.”
In addition to Dr. Carol Swain, credentialed researchers, professors, authors, and highly experienced individuals with first-hand knowledge — such as Karen England, Alex Newman, Dr. Duke Pesta, Sam Sorbo, and more — are interviewed in the film to shed light on the facts. The powerful documentary is designed to not only bring awareness to this important issue, but to also spark a movement of dedicated parents and educators fighting for a change in the education system.
