For Albanian Listeners to The Tide® Ministry’s Programming, Radio is Their Church
Albania Radio Listener Tereza Reports That The Tide Broadcast Has Allowed Her to Better Understand the Bible and Feel Blessed
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.—Imagine living without a church in your town. For some in Albania, it’s a reality.
And for new or potential believers in Christ in this predominantly atheist nation, the gospel radio programs from The Tide® (www.thetide.org) ministry may be people’s only gateway to Jesus.
For example, there isn’t a church building where Albanian resident Tereza lives. That’s why she considers radio her church. The Tide Albanian language radio program, which airs on Radio 7 Albania, has allowed her to better understand the Bible. Tereza reports that the host of the show makes her feel positive and blessed.

The Tide ministry’s newest initiative, called “Every Knee, Every Tongue,” allows Christians to spread the Word of God and proclaim the gospel message around the world. Through “Every Knee, Every Tongue,” all are welcome to sponsor Christian radio broadcasts produced by The Tide ministry and recorded by local indigenous pastors in both populated and remote communities around the world.
Rooted in Romans 14:11, “It is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God’” (NIV), “Every Knee, Every Tongue” raises the question: How will every knee bow and every tongue proclaim praise to God if we don’t share what Jesus has done with others? Later this year, The Tide ministry will offer programming in its 25th heart language—Isaan, spoken by 19 million people in Thailand. That initiative will allow Thailand to join multiple regions of Zimbabwe, India, Nigeria, Nepal, Bhutan, Albania and Kosovo, where The Tide ministry is already active in broadcasting Gospel radio programming—in the languages people were born to speak.
