NACFC Invites Seasoned Investor Brent Owens of Creative Financial Designs for October 21 Session
September 28, 2020
ORLANDO, Fla. — The National Association of Christian Financial Consultants (NACFC, www.nacfc.org), a leading proponent of Biblically Responsible Investing, will feature Brent Owens, president of Creative Financial Designs, as the keynote presenter in the fifth of six sessions in its free virtual conference “Alignment 2020,” set for Wednesday, October 21.
As 2020 has dished up challenges related to COVID-19, social unrest and a politically divided election season, NACFC has remained committed to providing tools, information and motivation for consultants to navigate these turbulent times through a six-part virtual conference for financial advisors.
NACFC president Mark Minnella says the fifth session of “Alignment 2020” will address the turbulent times financial advisors and their clients are facing — and identify hopeful solutions.
“Each session is designed to increase your ability to care for your clients, build a stronger more successful practice, and grow deeper in relationship with God,” Minnella said. “The Alignment 2020 conference is not about a new technique, it is about a more perfect business life.”
The fifth session of NACFC’s “Alignment 2020” virtual conference, on Wednesday, October 21, at 4:00 p.m. EST, will focus on the topic “Are You Equally Yoked with Your Broker/Dealer?,” presented by Brent Owens, president and operations manager of Creative Financial Designs of Kokomo, Indiana.
Owens brings decades of experience to the world of financial planning. From an early start while still a senior in high school, Brent earned his B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan in 1992 and immediately joined Creative Financial Designs, a firm he has served for nearly three decades. Years of experience and CCFC (Certified Christian Financial Consultant) Designation through the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants will inform Owens’ expertise as his talk covers three areas: 1. Aligning your practice with God’s vision, 2. The ability to invest with your convictions, 3. Financial planning from a biblical standpoint.
Previous “Alignment 2020” speakers have included Alan Ross, Founder and CEO of Kingdom Companies; Jeff Cave, director of Institutional Markets for Eventide; Zachary Covert, Director of Advisor Relations for Timothy Plan in the Northeastern and Midwestern U.S.; and John Parrott, executive director for Discovery Church, Orlando, Florida. These sessions are still available for members at nacfc.org/alignment-2020.
After the fifth session on October 21, the virtual conference will conclude with homerun hitter, Randy Alcorn, on November 18. Alcorn will ask NACFC, “What If Jesus Were My Advisor?”
NACFC is now offering the remaining sessions of the “Alignment 2020” virtual conference free of charge to anyone, member or guest.
Sessions are expected to run for one hour, and special sessions and sponsor presentations may be added. The name of one person from those who attend all six sessions will be drawn to receive free admission to the 2021 NACFC conference.
The mission of the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants is to teach, train and encourage financial professionals to learn, share and instruct biblical stewardship to individuals and families believing that “it profits a man nothing to gain the whole world and lose his soul” (Matthew 16:26). Members will glorify God by impacting their world for Jesus Christ through teaching and practicing biblical stewardship.
