Known for His Books About Donald J. Trump, Strang Urges Christians to Take Important Action in Newest Book ‘God and Cancel Culture,’ Releasing on Sept. 7. 2021
August 19, 2021
ORLANDO, Fla. — Stephen E. Strang, award-winning journalist, bestselling author, and founder of Charisma Media, has announced the forthcoming publication of his must-read new book, “God and Cancel Culture: Stand Strong Before It’s Too Late,” out on Sept. 7, 2021—and not a moment too soon. With vaccine passports now required for indoor dining, gyms, and performance venues in NYC and vaccinations mandated for all federal workers and, soon, for all military members as well, the government is increasingly stripping Americans of their God-given freedoms in favor of “cancel culture,” “political correctness,” and yes, communism.
Strang, as few others have done, boldly lays out the grave dangers for all who believe in America’s promise. “Cancel culture isn’t new,” notes Strang, a widely read author and Christian businessman who wrote “God and Donald Trump” (2017), among other books. “Its purpose has always been to silence opponents and control society by dominance and intimidation. But we Christians must not retreat. We must advance and be strong.”
Strang adds, “It’s one thing to make choices in a free market. It’s something else entirely to lose that free market and with it the freedom to choose. For many insightful observers, that is exactly the choice we face today: a rebirth of liberty or a tyranny that dominates society—even American society.
“America is living proof—with more than 200 years of history to back it—that capitalism gives more freedom than any other economic system,” Strang further reveals as to why he has written “God and Cancel Culture”. “We certainly don’t want to tear it down in favor of some alternate culture. But what can be done to save freedom from Marxism? Some say the solution will be rather extreme—and violent.
“Speaking out and standing for what’s right are always in fashion in God’s Kingdom … And Christians must not lose heart. We must believe God for a great awakening.”
Featuring exclusive, compelling insights from a cross section of leaders,“God and Cancel Culture” also:
- documents what is happening to many conservatives across the country right now;
- shares effective ways that believers can respond;
- explains why we can look to the future with hope; and
- helps readers understand that no matter how bad things may seem, God always comes through.
Strang interviewed a young pastor, Chris Reed, who “pointed out that the Left preaches that Americans should give up their Second Amendment rights—while leftist politicians walk around with armed bodyguards. The Left preaches that it’s immoral for a nation to have boundaries—yet builds a barrier around the Capitol in Washington, D.C., while many of its adherents live in gated communities. The Bible warns such people that their deeds will come back on them,” reports Strang in his book. He also shares, “If ever there was a time for us to rise with boldness and courage and speak the truth in love, it’s now.”
“God and Cancel Culture” will help Christians realize the seriousness of the battle before them and illuminate the present circumstance for the purpose of doing good—to bring hope. It will document what is happening in the country, how believers can respond, and why they can look expectantly to the future.
