Health Care Sharing Leader Samaritan Ministries Teams Up with Tenth Avenue North for Upcoming Tours

Samaritan Ministries Presents Its Biblical Approach to Health Care as Sponsor of ‘Decade the Halls’ Christmas Tour and ‘The Finally Living Tour’ This Winter and Spring

December 3, 2019

PEORIA, Ill.—Beginning this week, Samaritan Ministries International, one of the leading health care sharing ministries in the nation, will team up with Tenth Avenue North, a popular and award-winning Christian band embarking on two upcoming tours.

Throughout the “Decade the Halls” Christmas tour and “The Finally Living Tour,” Tenth Avenue North concertgoers will be able to find out more about health care sharing through Samaritan Ministries with videos and member testimonials.

“We’re thrilled to be able to work with Tenth Avenue North this year,” said Amanda Wilton, Samaritan Ministries’ marketing coordinator. “And it will be such an honor to introduce the many benefits of health care sharing through Samaritan Ministries to thousands of Tenth Avenue North fans across the country.”

Tenth Avenue North lead guitarist Jeff Owen and his family are members of Samaritan and appreciate the Biblical community the health care sharing ministry offers.

“We love Samaritan Ministries because it feels like a community,” Owen said. “We don’t feel like we are a part of a system, but rather we are a part of like-minded believers and we’re in this thing together!”

The other two Tenth Avenue North band members, Mike Donehey and Ruben Juarez III, are also Samaritan members, and the band will post videos about health care sharing through Samaritan on its social media accounts in the coming weeks.

Dove Award winner Tenth Avenue North began in 2000 and has released nine albums. The eight-stop “Decade the Halls” Christmas tour begins this week—Thursday, Dec. 5, in Raleigh, North Carolina—and continues through Dec. 15. The band will then hit the road for “The Finally Living Tour,” beginning Feb. 27 in Gadsden, Alabama, and concluding April 3 in Farmington, New Mexico.

Samaritan Ministries members have practiced health care sharing for 25 years, with a focus on an affordable, Biblical model that gives them freedom to make the best health care decisions for their families—and their budgets. Across the country and around the world, the more than 82,000 Samaritan Ministries member households (271,000-plus individuals) help their fellow Christians with their health care needs by sending monthly financial shares directly to other families while also praying for them and sending along notes of encouragement.

Each month, Samaritan’s growing Biblical community shares approximately $30 million in needs person to person, family to family. In fact, Samaritan Ministries members have shared $1.8 billion in needs over the past 25 years; contact Samaritan Ministries for details or visit this link.
