iVoterGuide: Sen. Kamala Harris’ Far-Left Record Contradicts Media’s Attempts to Portray Her as “Moderate” and “Centrist”
iVoterGuide President Debbie Wuthnow: Voters Need to Do their Own Homework, and We are Here to Help!
August 17, 2020
DALLAS, Texas—iVoterGuide President, Debbie Wuthnow, is troubled by the news that presumptive Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden has announced that Senator Kamala Harris, D-California, would be his running mate. “This is the most far-left presidential ticket in American history,” said Wuthnow. “Not only does Harris support late term abortion, paid for by taxpayers, but she also voted against the Infant Born Alive Protection Act, which is infanticide. As Senator, Harris even tried to impose a religious litmus test on Judicial nominees, and she is a co-sponsor of Medicare for All and the Green New Deal.”
The Democrats’ media allies, including the New York Times and other liberal media outlets, wasted no time in trying to spin Harris’ far-left record to make her appear more palatable to Middle America. They deceptively paint her as a ‘centrist’ and a ‘pragmatic moderate,’ hoping that people will be satisfied with that depiction and take their word for it without doing further research.
“Despite all the media fanfare about Harris being a ‘centrist,’ her ultra-liberal record says otherwise,” says Wuthnow. “iVoterGuide evaluated her when she ran as a Democratic presidential candidate, which can show you clearly which direction the new Vice-Presidential candidate would take the Democratic Party.”
However, as always, “iVoterGuide doesn’t want you to just take our word for it, but to check out the source information yourself at iVoterGuide.com,” says Wuthnow. “Not only is research provided on our website about the candidates’ positions, but the party platforms are compared, so you can see how each party stands on the issues like the right to life, religious liberty, National Defense, economy, healthcare, and border security.”
“Today, more than ever,” Wuthnow says, “voters need to do their own homework – and iVoterGuide is here to help!”
