Lancaster Baptist Church’s Spiritual Leadership Conference Kicks Off Sunday with Prayer for Revival for Thousands

June 10-13 California Event Will Focus on Engaging Our World with Timeless Truth and Equipping Thousands to Fulfill the Great Commission

LOS ANGELES—Thousands will gather beginning Sunday for Lancaster Baptist Church’s four-day Spiritual Leadership Conference, and attendees will hopefully leave refreshed, renewed and revived in their service to carry out God’s calling for their lives.

In fact, with the theme of Revive, senior pastor and conference host Dr. Paul Chappell knows that revival is exactly what is needed across the nation and in America’s churches.

As I look at today’s ministry landscape, I’m aware of how desperately we need God’s reviving work—in our own lives and churches as well as across our nation,” Chappell said. “We are asking God for revival in our lives and that the revival fires would come at this year’s Spiritual Leadership Conference.

Chappell will lead general sessions as well as discussion sessions on “Church Revitalization,” “Biblical Process for Continuing Church Ministries” and “Trends and Truths in Our Day.” Numerous additional sessions are planned throughout the Lancaster Baptist Church campus and will give thousands of ministry leaders the chance to fellowship together, network, pray and be revived.

The June 10-13 conference, one of the largest Christian leadership conferences in the nation, is geared toward a wide variety of roles and interests, with 70 sessions in 13 tracks geared toward pastors, children’s ministry workers, educators, administrators, ladies, musicians, church staff and teens.

Biblical preaching and teaching from keynote speakers will edify and encourage attendees to make a difference with the Gospel of Christ. A new schedule and morning format provides high-impact general sessions as well as discussion topics. This format is designed to help facilitate attendees in their endeavor to grow to be a spiritual leader in their areas of ministry. Specific discussion panels include: “The Spirit of Your Home,” “Engaging Culture with Timeless Truth,” “Gaining and Retaining Biblical Vision,” “How to Make Wise Decisions,” “Planning for Pastoral Succession” and “Biblical Preaching,” among many others.

Keynote speakers include: Dr. R.B. Ouellette of First Baptist Church in Saginaw, Michigan; Dr. David Gibbs Jr., founder of the Christian Law Association; Tyler Gillit of Worth Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas; traveling evangelist Dr. Tom Farrell; Dave Delaney of First Baptist Church of Long Beach, California; and Ryan Thompson of Liberty Baptist Church of Newport Beach, California.

Several staff and guest speakers will also lead workshops, and opportunities for lodging at West Coast Baptist College are available. For more information, visit slconference.com; a conference app is available for iOS and Android. View the schedule here or register here.
