Leading Values Voter Summit Sponsor, AFA Action, Available for Interviews During Washington, D.C. Event
Sept. 21-23 Event Will Welcome Top Conservative Voices in America, Poised to Serve as Change-Makers Before Crucial November Elections
TUPELO, Miss.—AFA Action (www.afaaction.net), the governmental affairs affiliate of the American Family Association (AFA, www.afa.net), will once again serve as one of the lead sponsors for the annual Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., the premier national gathering for social conservatives—and especially crucial with impactful elections just two months away.
The three-day event is set for Sept. 21-23 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel and will welcome the nation’s top conservative voices, with AFA as one of them.
At the AFA Action luncheon on Sept. 21, AFA’s Walker Wildmon, Assistant to the President, will give a presentation titled “The Four Creatures of the Swamp.” Several other AFA representatives are also scheduled to speak, including: Sandy Rios, Director of Governmental Affairs; Abraham Hamilton III, General Counsel and Public Policy Analyst; and Rob Chambers, Vice President of AFA Action.
Rios will deliver the keynote message for AFA at the Summit, and Hamilton and Chambers will speak during a breakout session on “Reclaiming and Preserving Conservative Values in a Counter-Christian Culture.”
“This is the premier event for those Americans who yearn for the nation to return to its bedrock values of traditional marriage, religious liberty, sanctity of life and limited government,” Wildmon said. “Participants should plan to be inspired to action by the A-list roster of presenters, the break-out sessions, and the exhibits.”
At last year’s Summit, President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence were among the speakers that also included Michele Bachmann, the Benham Brothers, Lt. Col. Oliver North, Lila Rose and George Barna. The 2018 confirmed speakers include the Benham Brothers, Gov. Matt Bevin, Dr. Ben Carson, David Daleiden, Brigitte Gabriel, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Rep. Jim Jordan, Dana Loesch, Rep. Mark Meadows, Jack Phillips, Mike Pompeo, Todd Starnes and many others.
