National Association of Christian Financial Consultants 2020 Virtual Conference Aims to Bring Business and Beliefs Into ‘Alignment’

Six Online Monthly Conference Sessions from June to November Will Equip Professionals to Align Planning Process with Client Convictions and Engage with Other Advisors and Industry Leaders

April 27, 2020

ORLANDO, Fla.—The National Association of Christian Financial Consultants (NACFC, www.nacfc.org) is planning an exciting virtual conference for financial professionals in the field over six consecutive months this year.

Especially in turbulent periods in the current economy, NACFC’s conference theme of “Alignment 2020: Virtual” is particularly timely. Planned over six monthly online sessions—June 17 through November, scheduled for the third Wednesday afternoon of each month—the virtual event will equip financial planners and consultants to learn more about and be fully committed to Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI), while they help their clients honor God with their resources and engage with other advisors and industry leaders.

“As we come out of the COVID-19 pandemic, NACFC recognizes that many financial consultants are facing new challenges in their practice,” said NACFC president and co-founder Mark Minnella. “To better serve them during these unprecedented times, NACFC will host a virtual conference series over the next six months, with the objective to provide tools, information and motivation to rebuild and strengthen practices coming out of the pandemic in a way that will bring honor and glory to God.”

“Alignment 2020: Virtual” will also provide attendees with the education and resources to align their planning process with their clients’ beliefs and convictions. Other goals will be to align businesses with godly principles, align hearts with Christ, align practices with the community and “align yourself with others like you to reach those NOT like you.”

Expert speakers will present timely topics over the six-month span of the virtual conference sessions:

SESSION #1—JUNE 17 at 3:30 p.m. CT/4:30 p.m. ET: Aligning Your Business with Godly Principles with the Help of the NACFC: How the 2020 conference series will help consultants utilize their practices to glorify God and experience growth, both personally and professionally. Speaker: Alan Ross

SESSION #2—JULY: Digital Engagement for Prospecting and Client Development. Speaker: Jeff Cave

SESSION #3—AUGUST: Aligning Biblical and Effective Communication Principles. Speakers: Mark Minnella, Zachary Covert, Dave Hart

SESSION #4—SEPTEMBER: God’s Calling to Finance, Called to Service. Speaker: John Parrott

SESSION #5—OCTOBER: Leadership Requires Balance. Speaker: Brent Owens

SESSION #6—NOVEMBER: If Jesus Was My Advisor. Speaker: Randy Alcorn (pending)

Additional monthly sessions will be set on the third Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. CT/4:30 p.m. The virtual conference is free to NACFC members to attend. Non-members can join NACFC for the entire year for $195, which will include the 2020 conference fee. Sessions are expected to run for one hour, and special sessions and sponsor presentations may be added. The name of one person from those who attend all six sessions will be drawn to receive free admission to the 2021 NACFC conference.
