Neither Negative News Nor a War of Words Will Sway Trump’s Commitment to the American People
In His Book, ‘Trump Aftershock’ Author Stephen E. Strang Writes About Trump’s Unwavering MAGA Agenda
ORLANDO, Fla.—Over the weekend, Donald Trump foe Elizabeth Warren officially threw her hat into the ring of Democrat presidential hopefuls for 2020. Trump and Warren have had a war of words over many months, and Warren’s latest jab was that Trump “may not even be a free person” in 2020.
Stephen E. Strang, a best-selling author who has released his newest book, “Trump Aftershock,” says Donald Trump is likely unphased, as he’s seen an unrelenting barrage of negativity even before campaigning to become the leader of the free world.
“In late 2018, the Media Research Center found that 92 percent of mainstream media coverage of President Trump was negative,” Strang said. “So a biased press and insults from his peers are nothing new. Donald Trump was wise from the very beginning, making friends with those media who would cover his agenda fairly and making no room for those who were clearly committed to pushing their own views in their reporting. For years, Donald Trump circumvented the mainstream media and instead used social media to reach his base—and it worked.
“President Trump is not swayed in his commitment to ‘Make America Great Again,’ and he will not go back on his promises to those who put him in office. They believed he was a different kind of leader who would take action for the country and go against the status quo.”
Ongoing talks of impeachment will also not convince the president to stop fighting for the nation, Strang added. Incidentally, 20 years ago today, Feb. 12, former President Bill Clinton was acquitted on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice in his impeachment hearing.
“Trump Aftershock” explores the “president’s seismic impact on culture and faith in America” and uncovers unreported facts while objectively helping readers understand what the nation’s most unlikely and unconventional president has accomplished.
Stephen E. Strang is the best‐selling author of “God and Donald Trump.” The CEO and founder of Charisma Media, Strang was voted by TIME magazine as one of the most influential Evangelicals in America. He has traveled to more than 50 countries, has interviewed four U.S. presidents, and has been featured on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CBN, Dr. James Dobson’s “Family Talk” and The Daily Caller.
“Trump Aftershock” is published by FrontLine, an imprint of Charisma House, which has published books that challenge, encourage, teach and equip Christians, including 14 New York Times best-sellers.
