Stephen E. Strang, Author of New Book, ‘God, Trump, and the 2020 Election,’ Offers Insight Over the Airwaves
February 10, 2020
ORLANDO, Fla.—What’s at stake for Christians in the 2020 election? Everything.
Author, Christian businessman and award-winning journalist Stephen E. Strang discusses the most pressing issues the faithful must consider on Nov. 3. Strang recently released his exciting new book—the third in an influential trilogy—“God, Trump, and the 2020 Election.”
In eight fresh, new, one-minute audio spots Strang stresses why the Christian vote is so critical.
“In my new book, ‘God, Trump, and the 2020 Election,’ I explore the key issues that concern Evangelicals, most importantly, what would happen to those issues if Trump loses the election,” Strang says in one of the spots.
Although there are many, Strang points to five of these matters that should concern every believer:
“To defend the unborn,” Strang says, “we need a president who nominates conservative Supreme court justices. Why? Because they will uphold life bills that are sure to be passed.”
- Religious Freedom
“With religious liberties under attack,” Strang says, “the Left is replacing individual rights with the rights of groups. This undercuts our First Amendment rights.”
“President Trump advocates for prison reform,” Strang notes. “Contrary to popular belief, our president is for giving nonviolent offenders a second chance.”
- Supporting Israel
“Trump promised to support Israel,” Strang says. “In 2018, he moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, declaring it Israel’s capital. This fulfilled one of his campaign promises and brought joy to many evangelicals.”
- Appointing Conservative Judges
“With the appointment of Neil Gorsuch in 2017 and Brett Kavanaugh in 2018, many conservatives believe their vote for Trump has paid off, not to mention the other 185 federal judges that have been confirmed during Trump’s first three years in office,” Strang says.

In “God, Trump, and the 2020 Election,” Strang also discusses the urgency of Christians continuing to support the president, as his policies help hold back the Left from crushing the rights of all Americans, including Christians. In 2016, the Evangelical community saw God raise up Donald Trump to lead America at a pivotal time. Evangelicals who recognized this backed him more than any presidential candidate in history.
Heading into 2020, the stakes in his reelection are even higher. Strang’s unique understanding of Christian voters gives him insight into why they supported Donald Trump in 2016 and why he believes they will again in even greater numbers in 2020.
“God, Trump, and the 2020 Election” is also an inside look into how spiritual warfare is shaping the presidential race, which is an important subject for Bible-believing Christians. The book includes the accomplishments in Trump’s first term and his agenda in the second, as well as first-person interviews.
Stephen E. Strang is the best-selling author of “God and Donald Trump,” which was brandished by the president at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in 2018. The founder and CEO of Charisma Media, Strang was voted by TIME magazine as one of the 25 most influential Evangelicals in America. He has interviewed four U.S. presidents and has been featured on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CBN, Dr. James Dobson’s “Family Talk,” The DailyCaller.com and many Christian outlets. He also hosts a popular podcast, “The Strang Report,” on the Charisma Podcast Network.
“God, Trump, and the 2020 Election” is published by FrontLine, an imprint of Charisma House, which has published books that challenge, encourage, teach and equip Christians, including 15 New York Times best-sellers.
