USPIE President Sheri Few: ‘Parents have the power to make an impact in education, but they need to be informed and equipped to make the biggest effect’

COLUMBIA, S. C. — Parents, students, and teachers alike are all preparing for the upcoming start of the 2022-2023 school year. While the beginning of a new school year should be an exciting time, many Americans are growing increasingly more concerned about the toxic indoctrination taking place in American schools. From mask mandates to the hidden liberal agenda in teaching pedagogy, many parents are choosing to either send their children to private school or homeschool rather than subject their children to harmful ideologies.
Sheri Few, president and founder of United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE), is dedicated to informing parents of the dangerous agenda in America’s schools and empowering them to either make changes in their schools or find a more positive education experience for their children. USPIE’s latest feature film, “Truth & Lies in American Education,” uncovers the shocking truths about the American education system and what children are being taught.
“Indoctrination is happening in America’s schools, and it’s time for us to fight back,” Few commented. “Thousands of parents have already turned to alternative education methods like private schools or homeschooling to avoid exposing their children to divisive ideologies such as critical race theory (CRT). ‘Truth & Lies in American Education’ was made to shed light on the tragic state of our school system.”
“Truth & Lies in American Education” is the true story of April Few, the young mother of two children, who takes the audience through her eye-opening experience of setting out to learn about government schools and her discovery of the alarming liberal agenda throughout America’s school system. The film addresses questions such as:
“An informed public is vital to safeguarding educational excellence,” Few stated. “The film will ensure America’s families have access to the information they need to navigate and support their children’s education — and empower them to act as effective advocates for change. Parents have the power to make an impact in education, but they need to be informed and equipped to make the biggest effect.”
Few is currently embroiled in a legal battle regarding indoctrination in schools. Few resides in the Kershaw County School District. She asked the superintendent for a copy of the teacher training materials to see if the indoctrination model had reached her region. Despite being a taxpaying citizen, she was denied. After Few submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to obtain the teaching materials, the district still refused to comply and share the materials. Determined to uncover the truth, Few was forced to file a lawsuit against Kershaw County School District and vows to pursue this issue until the school district shares the training.
“The heart of the issue is the refusal to comply,” Few said. “What else could they be so afraid to admit, unless it’s the corruption fueling the toxic indoctrination? This is why every concerned citizen needs to see ‘Truth & Lies in American Education.’ In the film, credentialed researchers, professors, authors, and highly experienced individuals with first-hand knowledge share their experience and research — and the truth is horrifying.”
“Truth & Lies in American Education’ includes testimonies from educational experts such as Karen England, Alex Newman, Dr. Duke Pesta, Dr. Carol Swain, Sam Sorbo, and others.
