NYT Best-Selling Author Brigitte Gabriel: Tolerance for Anti-Semitism Must End
Trump is Blamed, Yet He’s Been One of the Most Pro-Israel Presidents in American History, Says Author of New Book, ‘RISE’
WASHINGTON—New York Times best-selling author Brigitte Gabriel says the era of dismissing anti-Semitism as a type of archaic form of racism must end. The horrific massacre shooting at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life Synagogue is a tragic reminder that anti-Semitism is alive and well within the United States, she said.
Gabriel’s new book, “RISE: In Defense of Judeo-Christian Values and Freedom,” was released Sept. 11 and contains action steps for Christians and Jews alike to that will equip them to fight the efforts of the nation’s enemies to undermine the U.S. culture at every level. “RISE” also motivates readers to unite with other patriots who wish to preserve America’s endangered Judeo-Christian values and freedom.
“Too often, hatred against Jews is discarded as an almost archaic form of racism,” Gabriel said. “As someone whose life was touched by the nation of Israel, the Tree of Life shooting cuts through my heart. I’ll never forget what I learned when I visited an Israeli hospital as a young girl, worried sick over injuries sustained by my mother when a mortar shell launched by Islamic terrorists hit our bomb shelter. As I looked around the hospital, I witnessed Jewish doctors actually treating terrorists that probably would’ve cut their throats had they not needed their help. It was in this moment that I realized how appalling anti-Semitism can be. Right then and there, I realized that to hate anyone for their religious beliefs or where they were born is truly barbaric.”
The same hatred that led Hitler to commit unthinkable genocide against innocent Jews still persists throughout the world, and tragically, here in the United States, Gabriel said, yet it is still tolerated or goes grossly unreported—except when to blame President Donald Trump.
“This president has been one of the most pro-Israel presidents in American history, who moved the U.S Embassy to Jerusalem despite media backlash, who also happens to have a Jewish grandchild born to a Jewish son-in-law working in his administration. But the evil shooter who committed the massacre was vehemently anti-Trump, and the reasons why an anti-Semitic attacker would have hatred toward President Trump are endless, because in addition to his heroic Embassy move, President Trump cut off aid to terrorists of the Palestinian Authority and has fought to dismantle the Obama administration’s Israeli death sentence that was the Iran deal with all his might.”
Anti-Semitism should not be a right or left issue, Gabriel asserted, it should be a human issue. Unfortunately, even things such as this have become politicized.
“The civilized world must band together in solidarity to ensure that people of all faiths can live in peace and harmony and that Jews are never persecuted and victimized by barbaric, murderous ideologies ever again,” she said. “To allow anti-Semitism to continue to exist unchecked in the 21st century destroys a piece of everyone’s humanity. There is simply no room for such hatred in the world.”
“RISE” contains Gabriel’s most hard-hitting, explosive message yet. It’s not only a warning but also a rallying cry to unite Americans of all backgrounds in a fight for the survival of the nation, the protection of the Judeo-Christian values upon which it was built, and the preservation of the freedoms on which future generations depend.
In the 10 years since her groundbreaking first book took the world by storm, Gabriel has boldly faced death threats from terrorists, condemnation from critics and attacks from the “PC Police,” yet she refuses to back down. Gutsy, spirited, undauntable and resolute, Gabriel now issues a new clarion call to America that addresses the historical and religious basis of our greatest threats to national security.
She started her organization, ACT for America—now approaching 1 million members—in an effort to protect the citizens of the United States from the horrors she experienced as a girl. She is also the celebrated author of two New York Times best-sellers, “Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America” (2006) and “They Must Be Stopped: Why We Must Defeat Radical Islam and How We Can Do It” (2010). “RISE” is published by FrontLine, an imprint of Charisma House, which has published 14 New York Times best-sellers.
