2020 marks the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the Pilgrims in what is now Massachusetts. The brave men and women sailed for more than two months from Europe to hopefully find a new land where they would be free to exercise their faith without the persecution they had experienced in England.
Carter Conlon, Pastor at Times Square Church in New York City, believes the landing of the Mayflower and the fragile colony they founded in the face of many dangers – all for the sake of freedom to believe in God, their way – was also the beginning of America, spiritually speaking.
