Samaritan Ministries Introduces Advantages of Health Care Sharing to Tenth Avenue North Fans

Samaritan Teaming Up with Popular Band to Present Biblical Approach to Health Care as Sponsor of ‘The Finally Living Tour’ Kicking Off Next Month

January 27, 2020

PEORIA, Ill.—One month from today, Tenth Avenue North, a popular and award-winning Christian band, will kick off “The Finally Living Tour” and, along the way, Samaritan Ministries International, one of the leading health care sharing ministries in the nation, will introduce concertgoers to the concept of Christian health care sharing.

Throughout the tour, fans will discover the advantages of health care sharing through Samaritan Ministries with videos and member testimonials. “The Finally Living Tour” begins Feb. 27 in Gadsden, Alabama, and concludes April 5 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

“It has been awesome to work with Tenth Avenue North for its Christmas tour to close out 2019 and to start 2020 strong with another exciting tour,” said Amanda Wilton, Samaritan Ministries’ marketing coordinator. “The band members and their families love being a part of Samaritan Ministries and are looking forward to telling their millions of fans how this affordable, God-honoring way to do health care can truly transform how families consider being a part of a Biblical community.”

Tenth Avenue North lead guitarist Jeff Owen and his family are members of Samaritan and appreciate the Biblical community the health care sharing ministry offers.

“We love Samaritan Ministries because it feels like a community,” Owen said. “We don’t feel like we are a part of a system, but rather we are a part of like-minded believers and we’re in this thing together!”

The other two Tenth Avenue North band members, Mike Donehey and Ruben Juarez III, are also Samaritan members, and the band is posting videos about health care sharing through Samaritan on social media, such as this tweet. The Dove Award-winning band was born in 2000 and has released nine albums.

Samaritan Ministries members have practiced health care sharing for 25 years, with a focus on an affordable, Biblical model that gives them freedom to make the best health care decisions for their families—and their budgets. Across the country and around the world, nearly 83,000 Samaritan Ministries member households (270,000-plus individuals) help their fellow Christians with their health care needs by sending monthly financial shares directly to other families while also praying for them and sending along notes of encouragement.

Each month, Samaritan’s growing Biblical community shares approximately $30 million in needs person to person, family to family. In fact, Samaritan Ministries members have shared $1.8 billion in needs over the past 25 years; contact Samaritan Ministries for details or visit this link.
