School District Attempts to Ban Parents from Watching their Kids’ Online Classes

Moms for America’s Kimberly Fletcher Responds:
“There has never been a more important time to monitor our children’s education, and never a better opportunity to ‘hover.’”

DAYTON, OHIO — Moms for America® (www.MomsForAmerica.us), a national movement calling on mothers to restore values such as motherhood, marriage, womanhood and patriotism, is calling for parents to be vigilant about their children’s school districts, some of which are trying to ban parents from watching their kids’ online classes.

Upon reading news about the Rutherford County School District’s attempt to ban parents from watching their kids’ online classes, Kimberly Fletcher, founder and president of Moms for America® and a mother of eight, had this to say:

For years, teachers’ unions have been infiltrating our children’s classrooms with their radical agendas, bullying teachers into submission and training up a new crop of teachers who condone and promote those radical ideas. Everything from pornographic sex curriculum to promoting racism and homosexuality has been shoved at our children behind closed doors, with parents completely oblivious to it.”

Now that children are distance learning from home, parents are afforded an opportunity they have long-awaited: “Parents have a front-row seat to view what the teacher’s unions have so far successfully hidden from them,” Fletcher said. “The fact that teachers are saying ‘parents are dangerous’ to their agenda should serve as a big wake-up call for parents everywhere.”

Author, Pastor, and Cultural Apologist Voddie T. Baucham, Jr., lamented, “We cannot continue to send our children to Caesar for their education and be surprised when they come home Romans.”

Likewise, we cannot continue to send our children to government schools run by teachers’ unions and be surprised when they grow up demanding socialism and questioning their identity. Says Fletcher, “There has never been a more important time to monitor our children’s education, and never a better opportunity to ‘hover.’

The freedom and safety of our republic depends on whether America’s millions of moms will choose to make their voices heard. Moms for America® encourages mothers to sign the Declaration of Mothers, which includes statements about human rights, the role of a mother in the home and the education of her children. Mothers can add their names to those of more than 58,000 fellow American moms who have signed the Declaration of Mothers at https://www.momsforamerica.us/declaration-of-mothers/.

Moms for America® provides critical information to moms across the nation including MomVote 2020, which focuses on high-impact suburban areas in 15 critical election states. This is an extraordinary opportunity to have powerful influence and impact in the 2020 election simply by educating, engaging, and empowering moms through MomVote.
