The Coalition for Christian Outreach 2021 Jubilee Conference: Every Square Inch

Noted Speaker, Author and Pastor Ashlee Eiland Presenting ‘Creation’ at ‘Jubilee’ at the Virtual Conference on Feb. 27

February 15, 2021

PITTSBURGHFor many college students, the world has become chaotic and full of uncertainty. Young adults have never needed the Kingdom of God more than they do now. The Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) understands that every square inch of life can be redeemed for the glory of God. The CCO invites college students to look towards the hope of the Kingdom at the virtual Jubilee Conference 2021: Every Square Inch on Saturday, February 27.

This annual event – which due to the pandemic will be hosted virtually – maintains its purpose of answering the call of service to Jesus Christ. The Jubilee conference is the culmination of what CCO ministry is all about. “Our lives have changed during the age of COVID-19 — but Jesus has not,” said Dan Dupee, former Chairman of the Board for CCO.

At Jubilee, students will be invited into Jesus’ story, breaking down the four-part gospel narrative to discover how every square inch of creation is the Lord’s … including them. Students will leave Jubilee with a vision for their lives, equipped with the tools to transform the world in the name of Jesus Christ.

In addition to offering twenty simultaneous workshops on faith and vocation, Jubilee will host four main event speakers, each presenting on a different aspect of the Gospel. Joining Jubilee is noted speaker, leader, pastor and author Ashlee Eiland, who will present Creation.

Eiland, who left her full-time job at Nestlé USA to pursue vocational ministry, has shared God’s message of redemption and reconciliation at events across the country. Her collection of essays, “Human (Kind)” shares how “radical kindness” can “give us hope and rekindles our common humanity.”

Eiland’s work has one purpose: to help humanity build bridges back to the Truth of who God is and between one another in redemptive, healing relationship. Her passion for Scripture, family, writing, elevating women in the Church, and the holy journey of adoption are core to who she is. Eiland serves as Formation & Preaching Pastor at Mars Hill Bible Church in Grand Rapids.

“Our God is not confined by social distancing,” Dupee, continued. “We are all still called to serve Jesus Christ with our entire lives. In a world full of uncertainty, Jesus invites you to look towards the hope of the kingdom.”

Joining Eiland at the Jubilee Conference 2021: Every Square Inch will be scheduled speakers noted speaker and author who will present Creation; Jon Tyson, pastor and church planter (New York City), noted speaker and author who will present Fall; Timotheus Pope, director of SB2Dub Citikidz, a Christian sports camp, noted speaker and author who will present Redemption; and Tish Harrison Warren, former co-associate rector at Church of the Ascension in Pittsburgh, Pa., noted speaker and author of “Liturgy of the Ordinary” and “Prayer in the Night,” who will present Restoration.

The college and university campus is the most strategic mission field in the world, with only 2% of students being reached with the Gospel. CCO partners with local church congregations to help students feel a sense of belonging. A community is formed between the CCO staff and students, who are invited into the lives of local congregations. Through this community of fellowship, CCO is able to minister to the students in a life-changing way.
