Ryan and Bethany Bomberger: ‘Roe never empowered women. It empowered abortionists who profited from fear and exploitation’
June 27, 2022
WASHINGTON D.C. — Pro-life activists everywhere are celebrating the official SCOTUS ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson that overturned Roe v. Wade. This new ruling has given individual states the authority to make abortion laws rather than a nationwide right to abortion.
Ryan and Bethany Bomberger, co-founders of The Radiance Foundation (Radiance, www.theradiancefoundation.org), are determined to raise awareness of the realities of abortion, race relations, adoption, and other urgent issues. Even as the country celebrates the Dobbs ruling, the Bomberger’s argue that the pro-life community must continue to fight for the rights of the unborn, even in a post Roe v. Wade society.
Ryan and Bethany Bomberger stated, “As a former single mother who faced an unplanned pregnancy and a father who was conceived in rape but adopted in love, we rejoice that a supremely wrong decision has been aborted. Roe v. Wade, under the guise of equality, violently stripped it away from the most defenseless among us, killing over 64 million since 1973.
“Roe never empowered women. It empowered abortionists who profited from fear and exploitation. The alarming, but predictable, increase in abortions from 2017 to 2020 is heralded, of course, by the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute (created by Planned Parenthood) as a reason to keep abortion legal. The multi-billion-dollar abortion industry exploits women and profits from fear, especially during the COVID pandemic. Big Abortion has worked with pro-abortion legislators to dramatically increase access to the violence since 2017 as they radicalized abortion laws in states across the country. These efforts included unconstitutional bills that try to shut down alternative choices like pregnancy centers and adoption agencies. Fake feminists, who wave their hangers to perpetuate debunked myths about pre-Roe America, celebrate the back alley in the form of DIY chemical abortion pills.
They continued, “We look forward to the cultural erasure of Planned Parenthood, a corrupt $2 billion taxpayer-funded abortion business that preys on the vulnerable. The pro-life movement will continue to do what we’ve been doing for decades — loving those facing unplanned pregnancies and providing for them medically, materially, emotionally, and spiritually. The battle for life will continue in the states until every member of the human family is treated equally.”
