The Tide® Ministry Plans Informational and Celebratory Banquets in Home State of Pennsylvania

September Events in Chambersburg, Manheim and Mechanicsburg Will Share the Mission of The Tide Ministry

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.—The Tide® (www.thetide.org)gospel radio ministry broadcasts life-changing programming around the globe, in places many may never visit. But at several upcoming banquets in Pennsylvania, those who want to learn more aboutThe Tideministry will get an up close and personal look at the work being done to help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.

“It’s always a blessed and gratifying time when we can welcome our community to celebrate with us all that God has allowed The Tide ministry to accomplish around the world,” said The Tide Director Don Shenk. “For nearly 75 years, The Tide ministry has been based in Pennsylvania, and we are honored to share our mission with others so that they may be a part of the work of our global partners, pastors on the ground and those who record programming in 25 languages people were born to speak.”

Next month,The Tideministry will host three free informational and promotional banquets that will feature dinner, music, testimonials and reports from various countries:

  • September 13: 6-8 p.m. at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, 24 Kauffman Road East, Chambersburg, PA 17202 | Register
  • September 20: 6-8 p.m. at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church, 54 North Penryn Road, Manheim, PA 17545 | Register
  • September 27: 6-8 p.m. Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church, 1050 S. York St., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 | Register

The Tide ministry currently offers audio programming in 25 heart languages spoken by millions of people in multiple regions of Albania, Bhutan, India, Kosovo, Nepal, Nigeria, Thailand and Zimbabwe, making it possible for multiple people groups to hear the Gospel in the languages they were born to speak.
