Partnering to Equip a Generation Prepared to Live Out Their Faith

GREENVILLE, S.C. Most Christians agree that America is suffering a moral and spiritual decline. With the rise of social media and its negative effects, the push for political agendas in schools and the deterioration of the traditional family model, many parents are worried about the future of their children.

Trail Life USA (TrailLifeUSA.com) CEO Mark Hancock is focused on building leadership skills, creating meaningful connections, and fostering deep relationships with Christ in boys across the country. Trail Life is growing boys into men through outdoor adventure. As they are led by strong male role models, boys are learning biblical principles that have endured the test of time.

Ahead of the upcoming “Bring Your Bible to School Day” on October 7, Trail Life USA has partnered with Focus on the Family to hold Fearless Under Fire, avirtual event on September 30 starting at 9:00pm ET that will help equip parents and students to be strong and courageous, ready to speak truth in love, and share the reason for the hope they have in Christ.

Hancock stated, “Many young people are looking for ways to start a conversation about faith; they just aren’t sure how to begin. ‘Bring Your Bible to School Day’ is a great opportunity to do that, and the ‘Fearless Under Fire’ virtual event will help prepare them to make those important connections for the sake of the Gospel.” This sentiment is shared by Dr. Daniel Huerta, Focus on the Family’s Vice President of Parenting and Youth, who commented, “‘Bring Your Bible to School Day’ is a great tool to help young people learn to share the important role faith plays in their lives with their friends.”

Focusing on the book of Daniel, Hancock and Huertawill equip parents and guardians with the tools needed to raise a generation dedicated to the Gospel and unafraid to share the Good News. Whether facing a flaming furnace or standing in the midst of hungry lions, Daniel and his band of brothers provide an excellent model of young men who stood boldly in faith, waited upon the Lord, and influenced a nation.

“Our goal is to raise a remnant of boys who are fearless under fire,” Hancock stated. “Boys who have strengthed the muscles of faith through intellect, action, and experience, and are prepared not only to stand for truth in the midst of the rising cultural tides we are facing…but who are prepared to turn the tide itself.”

On September 30 at 9:00pm ET, the “Fearless Under Fire” event will utilize three riveting sessions to inspire passion, connect viewers with families around the country, provide resources to equip boys to live out their faith, and prepare families for “Bring Your Bible to School Day” on October 7.
