While Other Organizations Saw Membership Decrease, Trail Life Ranks Surged to over 36,000

December 20, 2021

GREENVILLE, S.C. This week as the world eagerly awaits Christmas, Trail Life USA (TrailLifeUSA.com), the largest Christ-centered, boy-focused scout-type organization in the country, is taking the time to reflect on the impact it has had on boys across America.

“During a year when many organizations struggled, Trail Life grew and met critical needs for men and boys across America,” stated Mark Hancock, Trail Life CEO. “While many boys were sequestered in their homes, Trail Life USA raised up men. We built systems to ensure boys continued to meet. We held national virtual events like the National Backyard Campout and Concert, and participated in the Promise Keepers Fatherhood Summit. And we remained open for adventure. Boys never lacked a place to experience adventure, grow in Christ-like character, and learn leadership.”

Just in the past year, Trail Life has seen over 18,000 new members and over 160 new Troops, swelling the ranks of boys in Trail Life to over 36,000. This surge in membership highlights the growing need for a Christian organization that truly speaks to the heart of a boy.

With a vision to be the premier national character development organization for young men which produces godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens, Trail Life is determined to continue this growth trend into the next year and beyond. Trail Life’s dedication to raising up godly men of character continues to make a lasting impact on the culture, local communities, and boys all across America.

Hancock continued, “Despite the potential hardships from the pandemic, we’ve seen huge growth in our Troop numbers, which is a testament to the need that boys in America have for a Christ-focused, character-building, and adventure-filled program like Trail Life.

“Trail Life is where boys become godly men. Churches and families are seeing the fruit in men and realizing that our proven process is an effective tool to transform families and multiply the church.”

Hancock concluded, “As we gather to celebrate the birth of Christ, may you take this time to reflect on the goodness and grace of God— and may you always Walk Worthy!”
