Truth for a New Generation Speaker Meeke Addison Will Address Urgency of Prayer at Weekend Event

Louisiana Native Talks to Listeners Daily on Urban Family Radio, as Dr. Alex McFarland’s Upcoming Conference in Baton Rouge Will Focus on What Christians Can Do to Heal the Country and Bring Revival

GREENSBORO, N.C.—One of American Family Radio’s most popular, outspoken and respected hosts will be a part of Dr. Alex McFarland’s Truth for a New Generation (TNG) conference this weekend near Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The two-day event aims to help Christians of all ages mobilize and change the nation with prayer through the expertise of the guest speakers, like Addison.

“Meeke Addison is a powerful voice for families, women and her community,” McFarland said. “Wherever she goes, people are completely wowed by her insight into our culture and her passion for the most important issues in our society. Set for Oct. 26-27 at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, 19421 Greenwell Springs Road in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, Truth for a New Generation gives believers the tools, knowledge and confidence to stand up for their faith in all areas of life—in school, while parenting, in the workplace, at church and in politics.

A New Orleans native and radio personality with over 14 years of ministry experience, Addison and her husband, Wil, host “Airing the Addisons,” Urban Family Talk’s hit morning show on American Family Radio. The show focuses on empowering and strengthening the family and urban community. Meeke, also Director of Communications for Urban Family Communications, is a frequently public speaker and pro-family activist who keeps a close eye on politics and pop culture. She and Wil have five children.

For more than two decades, McFarland, a religion and culture expert, national radio host and author, has had the goal through Truth for a New Generation to help Christians, especially young believers, know how to talk about their faith in Christ and share it with others, particularly in a culture where more and more young people are abandoning their beliefs, leaving church behind or even adopting atheist views.
