What’s at Stake? — Stephen E. Strang Releases ‘God, Trump, and the 2020 Election’ in Two Weeks
December 30, 2019
In two weeks, award-winning journalist and author Stephen E. Strang will debut his newest book, “God, Trump, and the 2020 Election,” and it’s a call for Christians to realize what’s at stake in the next presidential election.
In “God, Trump, and the 2020 Election,” released by FrontLine, an imprint of Charisma House, on Jan. 14, Strang writes how he believes God has used—and will continue to use—President Donald Trump to make a difference for America
Throughout the new book, Strang touches upon breaking presidential news, including interviews with faith leaders who predicted the mass resistance against Trump along with current impeachment headlines.
“This book is about God and His purposes as they relate to Donald Trump and his second term,” Strang writes in the new book’s introduction. “It’s about Trump’s vision to reverse the loss of American sovereignty and prosperity. I believe God wants America to be great because God has raised up this nation, going back to our Founding Fathers, to be a beacon of light and hope for the world. Because of our religious liberty, Christianity has flourished, allowing the gospel to be spread across the globe.”
In “God, Trump, and the 2020 Election,” Strang also discusses the urgency of Christians continuing to support the president, as his policies help hold back the Left from crushing the rights of all Americans, including Christians. In 2016, the Evangelical community saw God raise up Donald Trump to lead America at a pivotal time. Evangelicals who recognized this backed him more than any presidential candidate in history. Heading into 2020, the stakes in his reelection are even higher. Strang’s unique understanding of Christian voters gives him insight into why they supported Donald Trump in 2016 and why he believes they will again in even greater numbers in 2020.
“God, Trump, and the 2020 Election” is also an inside look into how spiritual warfare is shaping the presidential race, which is an important subject for Bible-believing Christians. The book includes the accomplishments in Trump’s first term and his agenda in the second, as well as first-person interviews.
