Financial Expert Dan Celia: K Street is Driving Wall Street and Republicans Are Hiding Behind Sheep’s Clothing

 

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—Another week, another shakeup at the White House—this time with presidential adviser Steve Bannon heading for the door.

While Bannon could hardly be described as “establishment,” financial expert and nationally syndicated host Dan Celia is wondering if President Donald Trump will stick to his promise to “drain the swamp” before the economic effects become too great

“Will Donald Trump drain the swamp or will he become another alligator living in the swamp?” Celia asked on his daily, three-hour call-in program, “Financial Issues.” “I know he is caving, he is tired of the fight. It’s getting old, but there is absolute lunacy going on in Washington, with K Street and all the lobbyists driving everything that happens on Wall Street. This is what’s driving the agenda, and we listen as Republican representatives blame the Democrats and former President Barack Obama for all the woes of the world. We must throw it back at them. This is about Republicans—the lack of fiscal policy, the lack of governing—has nothing to do with the Democrats. At least we know what the Democrats stand for. The Republicans are wrapped up in their sheep’s clothing—and that’s the problem.”
