The eighth reason why June is ‘Pro-Life Month’

‘It reminds us of what’s really important and how we stay true to our beliefs when it comes to choosing how to pay for our families’ medical care. HCSMs will not make their members unwitting partners in abortion or other unbiblical practices,’ said AHCSM Executive Director Katy Talento

WASHINGTON — There are seven solid reasons why June should be considered “Pro-Life Month,” according to an article published by the Kuyperian Commentary.

The Alliance of Health Care Sharing Ministries (AHCSM) agrees and is adding an eighth reason:

“Health insurance often implicates Christians in the abortions of other enrollees, but HCSMS are the only choice to ensure that you’re not paying for such immoral procedures,” said Katy Talento, executive director of the Alliance of Health Care Sharing Ministries.

“June is Pro-Life Month. ‘It reminds us of what’s really important and how we stay true to our beliefs when it comes to choosing how to pay for our families’ medical care. HCSMs will not make their members unwitting partners in abortion or other unbiblical practices or gender transitioning treatments.”

The seven reasons why June is “Pro-Life Month” are listed below, according to Kuyperian Commentary, a website providing essays in the spirit of famed 19th-century theologian Abraham Kuyper.

1. Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (June 2022) overturned Roe v. Wade.

2. June is a strategic ground to claim: Those seeking to mainstream sexual disorder have been trying to claim June for a long time. But the Dobbs ruling in June gives a legitimate and prominent way to push back.

3. Being pro-life cuts to the heart of the Godless agenda: The godless world is trying to claim that the autonomous self is god.

4. Dobbs was a pivotal win.

5. People win by what they celebrate: If people want more victories like Dobbs, then they need to step up their celebrations.

6. Pursue the enemy: Pro-Life Month is a great way to galvanize the troops for the next fight.

7. Historically, June has been the month to celebrate what God designed marriage to be: one man and one woman.

“We would add: 8. Health Care Sharing Ministries will not require members to support abortion and other questionable practices.

“The increasing dangers and immorality rampant in the so-called ‘health care’ system, particularly the drive to make dangerous abortion pills like mifepristone available over the counter without any medical supervision, suggest that it’s more important than ever for Christians to band together through communities such as Health Care Sharing Ministries,” Talento said.

“They are the only 100% pro-life option for financing medical bills.

“In addition, they provide a way for people to live out their faith in true Christian community, sharing each other’s burdens and praying for each other.”

Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., the Alliance of Health Care Sharing Ministries is a 501(c)(6) trade organization representing the common interests of Health Care Sharing Ministries which are facilitating the sharing of health care needs (financial, emotional, and spiritual) by individuals and families, and their participants.
