‘The Unrestricted War’ is not fiction; it’s happening in real life
Latest film on the new platform Gan Jing World exposes the CCP’s worldwide threat to mankind in ‘The Unrestricted War’
WASHINGTON — In a time when the Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda, censorship and surveillance are targeting populations in China, the United States and around the world, Gan Jing World (GJW) is a new social media and video streaming platform that values freedom of speech and provides a refuge for voices being silenced..

The new film, “The Unrestricted War,” is a fictional take on true events that happened early in the COVID-19 pandemic. This harrowing political thriller exposes how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) concealed critical information and silenced whistleblowers, triggering a global crisis.
“Unrestricted war” refers to a real-life military strategy developed by two senior officers of China’s People’s Liberation Army. Unlike conventional warfare, this strategy aims to weaken enemy societies through all means possible, blending into everyday life through infiltration, technology, information warfare, and media manipulation.
Through the story of this film, the audience experiences the unrestricted warfare strategy in all parts of life. As a demonstration of the strategy in action, all film distributors refuse to take “The Unrestricted War.” The film is only available now on GJW+ exclusively.
GJW CEO Dr. Sherry Yin recently spoke about the film’s impact and the company’s broader mission of ethical technology and free speech on Capitol Hill, during the exclusive U.S. premiere of “The Unrestricted War.”
“‘The Unrestricted War’ is a powerful story of courage and truth. It confronts a global pandemic cover-up by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). And in real life, the cover-up of COVID-19 has brought a great threat to humanity,” said Dr. Sherry Yin.
“Gan Jing World was founded in 2022 in Middletown, NY, by Silicon Valley high-tech veterans and business innovators. Many of our staff have witnessed the CCP’s persecution of its own citizens. They came to the United States to study and work. Having experienced both systems, we were alarmed to observe how the CCP’s propaganda, censorship, and surveillance — often through the tech sector — are seeping into the United States little by little, year after year.
“The threat is real.
“Just this month, Gan Jing World experienced the CCP’s coordinated online attack, flooded with hate comments from fake accounts targeting programs that exposed the persecution of Falun Gong.
“This is why Gan Jing World was established. We develop technology for the sake of humanity, not controlling people.
“We stand firmly for free speech without political censorship. We protect user privacy with our private data center. We provide wholesome content for families without harmful influences.
“We want to invite all people to watch this film, as this is not just fiction. It’s happening in real life. Only by understanding the severity of this attack on humanity can the American Way of Life — Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness — be protected.”
While directing the film, director Yan Ma experienced interference from the local government officials in China while directing the film — real-life unrestricted warfare — including harassment from national security agents and some of his family members being cut off from their income. Three days prior to shooting the film, one of the lead actors left after he received threatening information that he believed came from the Chinese United operations in Canada.
When the film was first released in Canada, Yan Ma encountered disruption again from the Chinese government after the film premiere was cancelled one day before the event.
Due to these interferences, Yan Ma decided not to release the film in theatres in the U.S. and instead planned to release it on the GJW+ streaming platform.
In addition to director Yan Ma, Writer Rob W. King (“The Humanity Bureau,” “Tokyo Trial”) also wrote for the film. The film stars Dylan Bruce (“The Christmas Promise,” “Unstoppable”) and Uni Park (“Tremors”), and was produced by Sophia Sun.
The new film, “The Unrestricted War,” is available to stream now, exclusively on the GJW+ streaming platform.

About film Director Yan Ma
Yan Mais a film director from Toronto, Canada. Since 2007, he has worked as a director and art director in the film and digital media departments of various Canadian production companies, and his work has been nominated and won awards at several prestigious international film festivals. Major works include “Memory of the Red Wall” (2014), “Candlelight Across the Street” (2017), and “Up We Soar” (2021), to name a few. “Up We Soar,” his first animated work, was selected for the 42nd Cinanima International Film Festival, the 40th Brussels International Film Festival (Anima), won the Best Feature Film at the Los Angeles Animated Film Festival, and was well received by audiences around the world.
