CBMC celebrates year of growth and nearly 1,500 men who accepted Christ
More than 1,400 commitments to Christ, over 1,000 men in life-on-life discipleship, and a new national strategic framework shaping ministry impact
CHATTANOOGA, TN — Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC) today announced remarkable ministry milestones for 2025, reporting 1,498 commitments to Christ and 1,060 men engaged in ongoing life-on-life discipleship across the nation.
Matt Trayler, CBMC Director of Programs, said the ministry’s 2025 results reflect not only the dedication of local leaders but the power of intentional disciple-making.
“Seeing 1,498 men commit their lives to Christ and more than 1,000 engage in life-on-life discipleship reflects a movement of God that is touching hearts across the country,” Trayler said. “These numbers represent real lives — men choosing to follow Jesus and grow spiritually through the faithful investment of others.”
These achievements coincide with the completion of a renewed strategic plan that leaders say will guide CBMC into a new era of clarity, multiplication and missional alignment. The strategic plan — developed over the past year with extensive input from local and national leadership — is detailed in the Fall 2025 issue of CBMC’s Connector magazine.
A centerpiece of CBMC’s progress in 2025 is its refreshed strategic framework, including updated vision, mission and core values. Leaders say this unified plan is designed not only to clarify CBMC’s direction but to mobilize men to share their faith, disciple others and lead in every sphere of influence.
Adrian Savedra, an Area Director for CBMC in Oklahoma City who served on the national strategic plan task force, described the experience as transformative for both the team and the ministry.
“We are entering a season of greater clarity and alignment,” Savedra said. “This plan reflects the heartbeat of the men walking out CBMC’s mission on a day-in, day-out basis.”
Savedra said the unveiling of the refreshed framework — complete with new core competencies of reach, empower and deploy — left task force members deeply moved.
“This is a framework that isn’t just visionary. It’s measurable, it’s actionable, and it’s designed to multiply leaders and disciple-makers across every market,” he added.
In Oklahoma City, Savedra’s team has already begun reshaping local ministry operations around the national Strategic Framework.
“This shift is moving us from a mindset of addition to a mindset of multiplication,” he said. “Our goal is a movement of God in our city that overflows into every community nationwide.”
He noted that the new plan gives local leaders a common language, shared goals and a unified structure enabling them to align their ministries more closely with the national vision.
Savedra is now calling on men across CBMC nationwide to consider the refreshed vision — which imagines men’s lives, families, workplaces and communities transformed by God — and to engage with it personally.
“Every man should ask two questions: Is this something I want to be a part of? And what is my role in it?” he said.
Trayler said the strategic framework is already accelerating momentum.
“The clarity provided by our new vision, mission, and core values is helping men stay focused on what matters most,” he continued. “We believe this unified direction will position CBMC for sustained growth and a nationwide disciple-making movement.”
Leaders say CBMC’s renewed vision will strengthen existing ministries and spark new outreach opportunities in every region of the country.
“The vision for a nationwide disciple-making movement is now ours,” Trayler said. “It requires all of us to step confidently into this mission, together.”
