Football players Swayze Bozeman, Case Keenum and Ladd McConkey champion Fellowship of Christian Athletes during My Cause My Cleats
Professional athletes join to raise funds to unite coaches and athletes through faith and purpose
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Every year during the NFL season, professional football players reveal their passions beyond the game through My Cause My Cleats — a player-led initiative where players, coaches and staff wear custom-designed cleats to spotlight the causes and nonprofits they care about most.
For this year’s My Cause My Cleats campaign, New York Giants linebacker Swayze Bozeman, Chicago Bears quarterback Case Keenum, and Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey will be supporting Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA, www.fca.org).
“We are honored to have Swayze Bozeman, Case Keenum and Ladd McConkey support FCA in equipping coaches and athletes with the transformative power of the Gospel,” said FCA President and CEO Shane Williamson. “These athletes are role models for the younger generations to learn the importance of keeping Jesus at the center of all they accomplish.”
Executive VP of Pro and Elite Sports Mike Blanc said, “We are prayerful that God will use the voices of Swayze Bozeman, Case Keenum and Ladd McConkey to encourage others to join a community of Christ-centered people growing together through their sport.”
“This is a great way to give back to the community and to an organization I care about,” said McConkey, who is supporting the Georgia Region FCA.
In previous years, FCA has been featured by Baltimore Ravens head coach Jon Harbaugh and Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix.
