Report shows ‘educated’ Democrats more accepting of political violence

USPIE: ‘People who spend more time in these institutions getting advanced degrees are more prone to adopting leftist views, including the use of violence to achieve their ends’

COLUMBIA, S.C. Americans have been told that education in and of itself is the solution to the nation’s problems. The more education citizens get, the better the outcome — supposedly.

“That might have had a grain of truth if education at all levels had not been hijacked by ideologues intent on indoctrinating youth into adopting their left-wing agendas,” said Sheri Few, founder and president of United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE).

“Recent research indicates, however, that ‘highly educated’ people like the activist accused of trying to assassinate President Trump on April 30 are more likely to embrace political violence.”

A recent report by the Skeptic Research Center found that people who hold graduate degrees are about twice as likely to say that “violence is often necessary to create social change” compared with those who have completed lower-level college degrees or opted out of higher education altogether, the Daily Caller reported.

Among those with a high school diploma or less, only 23% say that political violence can be justified. About 20% who have completed some college or obtained an associate’s degree say the same. The figure was slightly higher for those with a bachelor’s degree, with 26% agreeing with the statement. However, among master’s degree graduates, 40% said violence could be justified to enact social change.

“Colleges are rife with Marxist nonsense masquerading as enlightenment,” Few said. “It should be no surprise that, overall, people who spend more time in these institutions getting advanced degrees are more prone to adopting leftist views, including the use of violence to achieve their ends.

“USPIE’s groundbreaking report, ‘Are Government School Redeemable?’ reveals that education departments in most colleges and universities are steeped in leftist ideology. Because of this, a nihilistic mindset has permeated all fields of study, even computer science. If we’re to survive and thrive as a peaceful republic, we must reform the U.S. higher education system.

“In the meantime, parents, here’s our advice: Find a genuinely non-woke college, or send your kids to a good trade school or directly into the job market where they’ll get real education and experience!”

To hear more from USPIE’s Founder and President, Sheri Few, tune in to the latest episode of USPIE’s podcast, “Unmasking Government Schools with Sheri Few,” on Tuesday, May 12, where Few is joined by Robert Kilo, executive director of School Ministries, an organization dedicated to bringing Bible education to government school students across America through a program called Released Time Bible Education. In this episode, Few and Kilo will be talking about end-of-year highlights and the upcoming 2026 School Ministries National Conference in June. USPIE’s “Unmasking Government Schools with Sheri Few” is a weekly podcast that exposes the dangers of education shaped by government bureaucrats and social engineers, while exploring practical ways to protect children and preserve America’s freedom. United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIEis a nonprofit, nationwide coalition that is fighting to return education to its proper local roots and restore parental authority over their children’s education by helping parents and local communities to escape federal and other national influences. It is the vision of USPIE to create a culture where parents, empowered with the authority to choose what and how their children learn, are the undisputed primary educators of their children, where local schools operate in support of families, and where education is unencumbered by federal mandates.

USPIE’s powerful documentary, “Truth & Lies in American Education,” addresses some of the most glaring issues in the American education system and helps parents experience a paradigm shift in how they think about education and the role of their local schools. The film follows Few’s daughter-in-law, April, as she seeks to learn more about the system she was planning on exposing to her own children and learns the shocking truth. “Truth & Lies in American Education” is available for streaming on SalemNOW, as well as on DVD.
