GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Alex McFarland Speaker Series, “Conversations That Matter,” will encourage Christians “to persevere to the end,” and to fight the movements and the social currents enticing Christians to walk away from the faith. “Conversations That Matter” will keep Christians well-informed, foster critical thinking, and equip them for overcoming.
InNorth Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland, along with featured speakers, will equip Christians with answers on how to think critically about the important everyday topics, let their thinking be informed by solid information and wisdom, and sort out truth from emotion and falsehoods.
“Attendees will gain a better understanding of how to think critically, pray for guidance and thrive, knowing what they believe and why,” says youth, culture, and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland. “These three presentations, beginning on June 20, will uplift, equip and encourage Christians and new believers to pursue truth and know what to do with it.”
The Alex McFarland Speaker Series brings thought leaders and subject matter experts together with intellectually curious audiences to provide information and springboard thinking on a range of topics. Attendees come away from events equipped to answer challenging questions, diving deeper into their beliefs and the support for each. Most importantly, beliefs are made actionable, positively impacting the lives of the curious and increasingly informed.

- June 20: Presenter: Dr. Alex McFarland: “Revive US | Awaken America: The Time is Now”: An event with Alex McFarland to investigate the essentials of Christianity, a relationship with Jesus, and how those things will change lives forever.
- August 8: Guest speaker Eric Metaxas: “Revolution | The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World”: Unless Americans know the true story of the Revolution, they cannot play the role they are meant to play in the Revolution that still continues today. Eric presents the story Americans need to know.
- October 3: Guest speakers Mohamad Faridi and Kamal Saleem: “Islam’s Plan for America, The Christian Response”: Mohamad and Kamal will detail the true agenda of Islam and share their determined efforts to evangelize Muslims in the Middle East and the U.S.
