ST. LOUIS — For today’s youth, the internet has the capability to foster curiosity and imaginative thinking. At the same time, child safety experts warn that increased time online can expose children to inappropriate content, cyberbullying and other online dangers, prompting many parents to look for safe, trustworthy alternatives.
In response, Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®) is helping parents make the most of that screen time with Bible-centered content through U-Nite TV®, the ministry’s free streaming platform. Designed to help children discover biblical truth through engaging, age-appropriate programming, the platform gives parents confidence that every viewing experience reinforces biblical truth without commercials or questionable content.
“Technology isn’t going away, and screens are part of everyday life for many families,” said Andy Meinzinger, Director of Digital Ministries. “The question isn’t simply how much time children spend on screens; it’s what shapes their hearts and minds during that time. U-Nite TV helps parents fill those moments with biblical truth, pointing children to the life-changing, hope-filled message of Jesus Christ.”
This month, U-Nite TV is adding an exciting new entry to its expanding library of original programming. Premiering Aug. 12, “The Chief and the Anaconda”follows a gripping encounter deep in the heart of the jungle, where a confrontation with one of nature’s most formidable creatures becomes far more than a fight for survival. Ultimately, the story reminds children that God’s power gives them courage to face fear.
In addition to “The Chief and the Anaconda,” U-Nite TV recently released “The Book with Legs,” an animated adventure that invites children and their families to experience God’s Word in a fresh and powerful way. This inspiring feature reminds audiences that the Bible is alive when they live it and that all of God’s children can become a living testimony of God’s love, grace and truth.
These new programs reflect U-Nite TV’s mission of pairing engaging storytelling with biblical truth. Through unforgettable adventures, “The Chief and the Anaconda” and “The Book with Legs” remind children that no obstacle is too great when God is with them.
For Meinzinger, the content exemplifies U-Nite TV’s broader commitment to creating Bible-centered content that entertains while pointing children to God’s Word.
“Every child is being discipled by something,” Meinzinger said. “At CEF, we want to help families make God part of those everyday moments — even something as ordinary as watching television together. Our prayer is that children everywhere will discover God’s love through content that enriches while pointing them to His Word.”
U-Nite TV features engaging shows, heartwarming stories and programming that helps children understand and apply God’s Word in everyday life. Designed for the whole family, the platform turns screen time into opportunities for spiritual growth and meaningful family conversations centered on God’s Word.
From humor and adventure to music and missionary stories, U-Nite TV offers a wide variety of wholesome content rooted in biblical truth. Whether children enjoy action-packed adventures or inspiring true stories, every program is designed to capture their attention while pointing them to God’s truth.
The free service is available through the U-Nite TV website as well as the Apple App Store and Google Play.
