GREENSBORO, N.C. — Despite its Christian heritage, Islamic influence is now heavily influencing American society. New York City’s mayor, Zoran Mamdani, was infamously sworn into office on a Quran, inspiring a new wave of Muslim converts. Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed sparked outrage with a patently false claim that Sharia law is comparable to Christian canon law. Islamic adherents now feel free to harass dog owners and are empowered to intimidate and violently subjugate women.
The surge of Islam throughout American politics and beyond is a prime concern for youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland.

Many Twelvers believe they are to wait on the turmoil, but many others believe they have a hand in creating the conditions for the turmoil. Based on this worldview, why would they want peace and harmony with American citizens? It’s a critical mistake for us to stick our heads in the sand. Americans must be informed and equipped to combat this new attack on the American way of life.”
