Coloradans for Proposition 134: Vote for 134 to keep males out of women’s sports (and showers)
‘Tanna Donalson’s testimony is a prime example of why Christians — really anyone with some common sense — must make their voices heard this midterm election’
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Parents of the girls’ junior varsity volleyball team at Dakota Ridge High School in Colorado are up in arms at the inclusion of a transgender player at the expense of biological female players. Several concerned parents have reported that their daughters, who previously made the volleyball team, have been cut from the program while a biological male filled a coveted spot. The school is currently under investigation by a Title IX coordinator. “Across the country, this issue is discussed as a policy debate,” one parent commented. “For our family, it is personal: a teenage girl lost the chance to play the sport she loves at her school. We deserve a transparent examination of what happened and whether her rights were protected.”
“What’s it going to take to get the righteous men and women of America to take a stand against the transgender movement?” declared youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland. “Unfortunately, all the adolescents in this situation are the true victims, exploited by a system that tells them that they can choose their own reality despite what biology tells them. Science proves there are only two sexes — male and female. Yet somehow millions of people have been deceived into believing that their choices erase God’s design. These young girls have been robbed of their right to equal and fair access to athletics. Thank God that these parents are taking a stand for their children and demanding justice.”
McFarland recently spoke with Tanna Donalson, one of the moms of the girls in Colorado who were cut from the Dakota Ridge High School volleyball team. Her daughter’s experience led her to speak publicly about girls’ athletic opportunities, student privacy, parental involvement and accountability in public education.
“Tanna Donalson’s testimony, along with her daughters’, is a prime example of why Christians — really anyone with some common sense — must make their voices heard this midterm election,” said McFarland. “Colorado voters have the opportunity to vote on Colorado Proposition 134, which requires K-12 schools, colleges and athletic associations to designate teams as male, female or coed based on biological sex and bans male students from female teams. We cannot continue to stick our heads in the sand and allow America’s young people to bear the brunt of this insidious indoctrination.”
