ORLANDO, Fla.— The Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries (FISM, financialissues.org) released a moving video tribute to the late Dan Celia, founder of FISM and longtime supporter of Biblically Responsible Investing.
1 Chronicles 12:32 commends the sons of Issachar for their “understanding of the times.” Anyone who knew Dan Celia knew of his passion for his listeners, honest conversation, and his country. Most importantly, people knew him as a man who loved his wife, his family and his Savior.
A man of many talents and determination, Celia accomplished much in his lifetime. He served his country, launched a successful business career and reached thousands through Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries with encouragement and vital information allowing them to serve God through their finances. His homegoing leaves an aching void for his family, friends, staff and followers as they wait to see him again in heaven. And yet, through Christ, he also established a strong foundation and legacy to continue.
With the desire to honor Celia’s life and inspire others through the testimony of God’s faithfulness, the FISM team has produced a short tribute video.
Listen to Celia’s family, friends, and staff share insights into his life — his upbringing, testimony, his role as a husband and father, his love of animals, unique giftedness, and his outlook for the ministry.
Celia’s burning passion for the Gospel and life commitment to be “as a son of Issachar” should challenge all to live their lives fully devoted to the Lord. FISM encourages listeners and family alike to celebrate the incredible work Jesus accomplished through Dan Celia’s life and as they honor his continuing legacy.
