CINCINNATI, Ohio —On her national radio feature “Raising Godly Girls,” Founder and Executive Director of American Heritage Girls Patti Garibay recently discussed the importance of standing strong in Christian values, especially as modern culture deviates from a strong Christian foundation.

Garibay stated, “Our modern age brings a wave of the most challenging and complex conversations between parents and daughters of all ages. Issues like gender confusion, divisive politics, and moral relativism all stew in our post-Christian culture…eventually dribbling down into the minds of even the youngest of girls.

“Throughout history,” Garibay continued, “God’s people have been called to counter the worldly culture. In his letter to the Philippians, Paul reminds us that believers ‘may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.’

“You have the ability to reflect God’s pure light in the midst of today’s post-Christian culture. Better still, with you as a beacon, your daughter can do the same.”

The “Raising Godly Girls” radio feature and Raising Godly Girls blog shares guidance and biblically based advice on many key topics affecting girls today. It gives parents, educators, and faith community leaders a set of tools, resources, and Scripture-based advice to assist in raising girls after God’s own heart. The “Raising Godly Girls Minute” with Patti Garibay airs on 900+ Christian radio stations across America.
