Dan Celia: American Leaders Must Instill Confidence
March 13, 2020
PHILADELPHIA—Nationally syndicated host and biblical investing authority Dan Celia said today that the world economy is looking to America for strength and confidence.
“Come on, America!” Celia said. “The world desperately needs our economy and our strength. Where are the leaders and policy makers when we need them? Yes, unfortunately, the politicians, too.
“We need confidence instilled,” he added. “We need a plan, and it must be a detailed plan. I find it hard to believe that leadership and policymakers, including President Trump, can’t sit in a room and come up with a plan with four or five stages to allow us to hold our own and instill confidence in consumers and businesses—a defined plan that is publicly proclaimed.
“I think what we are seeing right now is confirmation and testimony to the fact that the so-called leadership on Capitol Hill has no ability, no will, no unity and no fight to come up with a plan, yet I suspect we will re-elect most of them again.
“Where is the old, reliable America?” he continued, “the dependable, under all costs and circumstances, the innovativeness and ingenuity the world at one point had come to know and depend upon, whether they hated us or loved us? The America that at the mere mention of the word, ‘America,’ instilled confidence and peace, that settled fears and shielded the hopeless? Where is America as a guiding light, as a beacon of confidence, strength and leadership? Where has it gone?”
Celia discusses these and other global and economic headlines on his daily, three-hour “Financial Issues” program, heard on more than 660 radio stations and several television networks nationwide, including FISM.TV, viewed on several post-cable television platforms and online.
