Dan Celia: Will Voters Allow Dems to Flip the House, Even in This Surging Economy?
PHILADELPHIA—House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has expressed confidence that her party will gain at least 30 seats Tuesday and flip the chamber. Democrats need at least 23 seats to take the majority, but nationally syndicated host and biblical investing authority Dan Celia says voters will think twice about making a change in leadership while the economy surges.
“A quarter of a million private jobs were added in the month of October,” Celia said, “along with higher productivity and a better than 3 percent GDP. I know I sound like a broken record, but the numbers just keep pushing upward. Under this past leadership, the economy was just fine, right? Sure, if you ask Pelosi, Chuck Schumer or Hillary Clinton! Going back to the Obama new normal of 1.8 percent GDP growth, poverty rates increasing every month, no wage increases, doubling the national debt in eight years, the highest minority unemployment rate ever, the highest under-employment in recent history, one of the highest part-time workforces ever, the highest food stamp participation ever, highest disability claims ever, pushing labor participation rates to a 40-year low, intentionally destroying health care and giving big insurance companies hundreds of millions of dollars to get them into a flawed health care exchanges would reverse all this momentum.
“Can you imagine a return to that?” he continued. “I find it hard to believe that Republicans and Independent voters will allow it. Will voters stay at home allowing a mob, open boarders, anti-corporation, anti-American values and a socialist mentality take control of the House? Doubtful. To say we MUST VOTE for the sake of America and her future generations is the understatement of the year. We can’t go back. We have the power to keep America moving forward. Help rally the troops and vote. And Pray for God’s blessings on America.”
