‘Is Human Sexuality Being Erased?’ Dr. Michael Brown Asks This Pointed Question at Southern Evangelical Seminary Event on April 13
CHARLOTTE, N.C.—In our highly sexualized culture, how can we possibly be erasing human sexuality?
It’s not only possible, but it’s happening, says noted author, radio host and critical thinker Dr. Michael Brown, who will headline a special event titled “Are We Erasing Human Sexuality?” on the Southern Evangelical Seminary (SES, www.ses.edu) campus on April 13.
Brown, SES President Dr. Richard Land and others will explore this question as well as issues such as transgenderism, homosexuality and what it means to be a human being. Attendees at the daylong Saturday event will also hear the testimony of a former bisexual who is now sold out for Jesus and His Gospel.
“Christians must be equipped to approach these issues with wisdom and grace,” Land said, “and for 27 years, Southern Evangelical Seminary has helped believers know what they believe and why they believe it. That has never been more important than now, when issues we once thought to be black and white and absolute are called into question daily. In fact, these matters are not only being questioned, but redefined through public policy, at America’s universities and even in our churches.”
Dr. Michael Brown is the founder and president of the FIRE School of Ministry in Concord, N.C., director of the Coalition of Conscience, and host of the daily, nationally syndicated talk radio show “The Line of Fire.” He became a believer in Jesus in 1971 as a 16-year-old heroin-shooting, LSD-using Jewish rock drummer. Since then, Brown has preached throughout America and around the world, bringing a message of repentance, revival, reformation and cultural revolution. He holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University and has served as an adjunct professor at Southern Evangelical Seminary. A sought-after columnist on the most timely of issues, Brown is the author of nearly 30 books, including the highly acclaimed five-volume series “Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus” and “Saving a Sick America: A Prescription for Moral and Cultural Transformation.”
