NACFC Successfully Launches ‘Alignment 2020’ Virtual Conference Series
First Session Equipped, Encouraged, Educated Financial Consultants To Make Lasting Impact in Industry and for Clients; Session Two in July
June 25, 2020
ORLANDO, Fla.— Hundreds of financial advisors are finding new ways to align their practices with godly principles, thanks to the kick-off of a six-part virtual conference hosted by the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants (NACFC, nacfc.org).
“Alignment 2020,” the NACFC virtual conference, garnered 160 registrants going into the first session on June 17 and anticipates dozens more financial advisors will sign up for each of the next five monthly sessions. The keynote speech prompted a lively Q&A in which 18 financial advisors posed questions. Several participants concluded the first session by signing up for membership in NACFC, and many others have inquired about membership.
Alan Ross, founder and CEO of Kingdom Companies, led the first of six sessions of NACFC’s “Alignment 2020.” Ross shared timely information to direct consultants to utilize this unique season to impact their businesses with godly principles. One target of his talk was coaching consultants on how to establish their legacy.
“Legacy is what we leave behind, stewardship is what we do now with it,” Ross said. “If you have a legacy, you’ve aligned your practice with God’s vision, you serve your clients with excellence, and you build a financially viable and sustainable business.”
Ross challenged participants both personally and professionally to use their practices to glorify God—a core value NACFC champions. He gave directives on the optimal time to grow your business and how to redirect disasters for godly purposes.
The relevant content and smooth execution of the first “Alignment 2020” session drew praise from participants surveyed afterward.
“This being my first interaction with NACFC, it left me wanting more,” one participant said. “I can’t wait to hear from the other speakers and get involved deeper with the organization.”
“Nicely done event,” said another. “The content, of course, was spot-on.”
A third participant confirmed the virtual conference rose to the level of previous, in-person NACFC conferences.
“I have been a member of NACFC since 2007 and was encouraged to join by Jeff Cave. Several new clients found my listing on the NACFC website when they did a Google search for ‘Christian Financial Advisor Near Me.’ They said that they were happy that they found me through the NACFC website. I have attended several NACFC conferences and they were great.”
Jeff Cave, director of institutional markets for Eventide, will speak at the next session of “Alignment 2020” on Wednesday, July 15, on the subject “Digital Engagement for Prospecting and Client Development.” The virtual conference is free for NACFC members and non-members to attend. Those interested in NACFC can join for $195 for one year. Sessions are expected to run for one hour, and special sessions and sponsor presentations may be added. The name of one person from those who attend all six sessions will be drawn to receive free admission to the 2021 NACFC conference.
For the free virtual conference planned for the third Wednesday afternoon each month, NACFC has lined up a group of expert speakers who are passionate about equipping financial planners and consultants to commit to Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI)—and helping their clients do the same so they can have peace about their finances even in turbulent times.
Other expert speakers who will present timely topics over the six-month span of the virtual conference sessions include the following:
- SESSION #2—JULY 15: Growing Your Practice Through Engagement. Speaker: Jeff Cave
- SESSION #3—AUGUST 19: Aligning Biblical and Effective Communication Principles. Speaker: Zachary Covert
