‘Planned Parenthood made a killing’ during COVID-19 pandemic, according to Ryan Bomberger

‘It’s amazing what happens when fear is your business model;’ Planned Parenthood profits skyrocket to $133.7 million during national pandemic

October 4, 2022

WASHINGTON D.C. —  The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent shutdowns ravaged America, with many families still feeling the physical, mental, emotional, and economic fallout two years later. While many businesses were forced to close all across the country during the COVID-19 pandemic, others prospered, including the abortion giant Planned Parenthood. Unfortunately, taxpayers were forced to fund a corrupt $2 billion abortion chain that stole $80 million in COVID relief funds that were meant for small businesses and used to violently take the lives of thousands of innocent children.

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) recently released their annual report for the 2020-2021 year, and the statistics have many pro-life advocates outraged. Ryan Bomberger, chief creative officer and co-founder of The Radiance Foundation (Radiance, www.radiance.life), responded to Planned Parenthood’s outright abuse of taxpayers’ funds, calling the report blatant proof that Planned Parenthood isn’t about women’s health — it’s a money making scheme at the expense of women, men, and the poor babies who lost their lives through the country’s biggest abortion mill.

Bomberger stated, “In 2020-2021, people lost businesses they spent their lives building. Planned Parenthood, however, was open and cashing in on COVID. In a pandemic where they provided 200,000 less breast cancer exams and Pap tests (combined) than the previous year, PPFA somehow managed to have plenty of time to kill more human beings than ever in their history: 383,460. The abortion giant violently ended 28,589 more human beings from July 2020 through June 2021 than the year before.

“Their profits skyrocketed, too, from $69.7 million to $133.7 million. It’s amazing what happens when fear is your business model. Even though they served 260,000 fewer clients than the year prior, they managed to rake in the most taxpayer dollars ever: $633.4 million! Drastically fewer clients + drastically fewer medical services + stolen taxpayer dollars + more abortions = pay dirt. Clearly, dismembering human beings is essential to their bottom line.

Bomberger continued, “Today, in post-Roe America, the abortion federation is tragically stronger than ever. Corporate America is bowing to them. So-called ‘religious leaders praise them as some kind of savior. Our nation’s radically pro-abortion teachers’ unions have united with them. The WNBA donates to them. And Hollywood and music celebrities help create tall tales for them.”

While Planned Parenthood claims in their annual report that they’re fighting for “health and race equity,” Bomberger points out the reality of the situation. Bomberger contended, “Perhaps they should first stop being the leading killer of Black lives. The abortion industry is steeped in racism. This fact has even been admitted by hundreds of current and former employees of Planned Parenthood. For years, more Black babies have been aborted in New York City than born alive. In 2018, for every 1,000 Black babies born alive there were 1,226 aborted in the borough of Manhattan where Planned Parenthood is headquartered. This is a ratio four times higher than whites and over two times higher than Hispanics.”

For Bomberger, a man of mixed ethnicity conceived in rape, this topic hits close to home. Bomberger stated, “As someone who was once considered ‘Black and unwanted’ but adopted and loved instead, I work to awaken the public, regardless of hue, to understand the difference between being empowered and being fooled by those in power. Abortion solves no social issue, gives no one equality, and ushers more deaths into communities already disproportionately plagued by violence.”
