Samaritan Ministries a Presenting Sponsor of Peoria Chiefs’ Faith & Family Nights
Health Care Sharing Ministry Will Interact With Fans on Saturday, June 17 at Dozer Park, As Well As Throughout Season
PEORIA, Ill.—This summer, Samaritan Ministries International (samaritanministries.org), one of the leading health care sharing ministries in America, is a presenting sponsor at all five of the Peoria Chiefs’ Faith & Family Nights. The events bring together area families for music, activities, giveaways, fireworks, baseball, inspiration and fun.
With more than 69,000 member households (227,000-plus individuals), Samaritan has practiced health care sharing through a Biblical lens for 22 years, with a focus on Christians helping other Christians with their needs as the Bible instructs in Galatians 6:2: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (ESV).
At the Faith & Family Nights for the Chiefs, a Class A minor league baseball team affiliated with the St. Louis Cardinals, Samaritan representatives will be on hand to share information about health care sharing, and the ministry will also have field signage, show a promotional video during the games, and have the opportunity for a ceremonial first pitch. At 10 games during the season, Samaritan will also be involved in on-field contests with prizes for fans. Radio commercials during game broadcasts all season long and program ads are part of the sponsorship as well.

Five Faith & Family Nights are part of the 2017 season; subsequent events will be July 15, July 30 and August 13.
Samaritan Ministries provides its members with the refreshing opportunity to apply the principles of New Testament living to 21st-century health care. Today, more than 69,000 member households send a monthly financial share directly to other member households who have medical needs. Samaritan members also pray for one another and include notes and cards of encouragement.
In this simple way, Samaritan members currently share more than $25 million each month, yet the monthly share has never exceeded $495 for a family of any size, and is even less for couples, singles and members under the age of 26.
